Can Fantochis have [insert animal trait]?
Yes! There are no restrictions when it comes to animal traits!
Are there any restrictions on the eyes?
There is only one restriction: Black sclera is Type C-exclusive. Other than that, you can go crazy with the pupils and eye color. A core gem can also be their eye(s), but it has to cover the whole eye.
Is it possible for Fantochis to have normal horns besides their core gem?
Yes!
Are there any restrictions on the shape of the core gems?

Would a Fantochi’s core gem be a symbol of their care?
Core gems mainly shine when a Fantochi uses magic. Some core gems do not have shine (ex. obsidian), but this does not mean they aren’t being taken care of enough. Some people can see a wound on the gem as imperfect, while others hold it with pride and consider it as a trophy.
This being said, Fantochi do try to keep their gem clean as much as they take care of their face!
Where should I place the core gem?
Core gems have to be placed on the head (either in the form of horns or any sort of gem that's on the head (ex. gem on the forehead, flower gem on eye). Extras can be added anywhere in the body, as long as there's something on the head. For example, a Type A Fantochi can have both horns & a gem on their chest. In the case of a Type C, all gems have to be on their head. So, a Type C Fantochi that is powered by a ruby & a sapphire has to have both gems on their head.
In other words, the strict minimum is a gem on the head, once that's included, gems can be anywhere else!
