There's a common language of Coranai, this is the language everyone uses to speak to others of different countries and is the main language spoken in 12 of the 14 countries, with the exclusion of Eljin and Gwalchmai. Every country does have their own language and regionally close countries have similar languages that belong to the same groups, much like the Romantic or Germanic languages we have. They are mostly used in schools, writing and reading and are learned to keep a sense of unity between the denizens of their respective countries. There are 15 official languages and many unofficial dialects that branch out and mix and match through trade and such.
