You Wake Up In The Above OC's Body! [IC Reaction]

Posted 7 years, 4 months ago (Edited 5 years, 8 months ago) by bulgariansumo

A game whre your OC reacts to suddenly having the above OC's body. Example

Chara A: *is a butterfly*

Chara B: *is originally a human, but now has Chara A's body* "Neat, I have wings! I'm going to fly away now!

Chara C: *is a wizard, but now has Chara B's original body* "What is this odd creature? And why can't they do magic??"

I will start off by sacrificing my son Leon.

Rule 1: I'm starting to see the same people replying back and forth, so please wait at least two posts after your own to post again. Have fun, everybody!

Rule 2: Each post has to be at least 3 completely filled lines of text, or the equivalent of that!

Rule 3: Don't be rude about the appearance of the previous character, even if your character is the vain sort.

Rule 4: This is a public thread, so keep it PG-13. Please keep sex/excessive violence/etc. down to a minimum. Rule of thumb, if the previous character does not have any mentions of that in their bio, don't inflict it upon them. If you must include that content, censor it like so.

You can reply regardless of rule 1 if it has been 24 hours since the last post.

CLANG!

That was the noise of a bipedal humanoid finely adapting to suddenly becoming a metal-eating quadruped.

CLANG! CLANGCLANGCLANGCLANGBOOMFH!

Ah, the elegance.

"What in the blazes?!" Emits the befuddled carnivorous plane, gathering her senses to stand somewhat firm on all fours. This body.. This body was abnormal. It was metallic, it was clawed and it was somehow bestial! There is so much confusion in so little time that poor Lenore feels overwhelmed, her new body emitting a revving noise of internal distress. An engine roaring, perhaps? Even breathing is odd, it isn't the same as human lungs. Does she even feel a heart beat?

Lenore's new impressive wingspan stretches outwards as the pitter patter of metallic paws clink the ground, desperately trying to sit her new body down and not slide about. It's awkward to say the least, with a tail as thick as hers and hind legs she's never even had to operate before, it's a challenge! But somehow after a fair amount of embarrassing shambling and sliding, scatching up the ground and letting loose grunts of displeasure upon sitting on her own tail, Lenore finds herself sitting in an uncomfortable position that reminds one of a shamed dog. Her tail curled around her legs and head bowed low.

What a pitiful sight, indeed. It seems the previous occupant of the metallic body shares the same sentiment of pouting as Lenore, although her thoughts are also accompanied by ideals of if she should inform her loved ones of this unusual situation and how exactly to explain it. It's not like she could operate a phone with this body! .. Or could she?

v [[ for context: You're being swapped into the body of a buff af fallen angel whose punishment is literally to be an eternal furnace. You don't have the adapted mind of Lenore, so you're literally burning alive from the inside and it hurts like hell. You can seek a cold source to try and soothe yourself a little, though! Unless you're use to that feeling. ]]

RAW reinapepiada

Cough, cough.

RAW does not need to sleep, so instead of waking up, they blacked out and suddenly felt so very different. They can't help but cough, body a little sluggish (when was the last time they closed their eyes longer than to blink, than to smile or cry?) and consciousness re-adapting. They feel so big, even more than usual. Is this the doing of God? Maybe she wanted them to do something new? They wouldn't know, God always did things without explanations, and expected RAW to perform perfectly (or that's what they assumed, it's what fills them with anxiety). So they would try their best here, even if they don't know what they have to do just yet.

Except that their entire train of thought is stopped with another cough and the complete awareness that their body was burning from the inside. They cough again, to no avail. It's extremely difficult to think like this and even less to control themself. Immediately, tears form from their eyes, eventually evaporating but they can't control it so they just keep crying. They drop on the floor, noticing they don't have their wings anymore, and while that would be great- right now they wish to go back to their usual uncomfortable self. This is the exact opposite of their element! They could barely stand being air-based lately but they like water, they're supposed to come from water and live in water, not to be burning like this. Why is it always so... So wrong?!

But it's not like they can't complain right now. No, they can't even think that it was wrong. They can't doubt about their beloved God. They curl up, in a foreign body, sobbing and shaking as they frantically tried to get used to the pain. They wouldn't die, they know that, but maybe they could somehow reset this awful state. Yes, they could ask God for a second chance, something a little gentler? They know God isn't like that. They aren't thinking straight.

"He--- Help--!" they try to yell, noticing their voice is much different than usual. Wait, they never changed voices. That is the key thing to their being and their soul, right? Oh, no... Oh, no, oh no... Maybe they wouldn't be recognizable now. Maybe nobody would hear them at all. They don't like this, they don't like not being themself, they barely can identify their already heavily altered body. Why more now? Wasn't it enough?

Soon enough, they realize that even if they were in the right form and with the right voice, nobody would come. Nobody ever has. They stay on the floor, shivering from pain and sobbing their heart out. In a way, it serves as a relief from all of their pain, not only the burning now, but their entire existence. In a way, it's liberating.

Maybe it's coincidential, but no matter the body, the painful, heartful weep of an angel serves as to tear something around, or at least that's what legends say.

Sirina Darkflame varkarrus

((OOC: Sorry for the long wait. My only excuse is DEPPRESSION... .....))

Sirina felt up feeling REALLY wonky, and with a wave of anxiety and dysphoria through her body. Now, Sirina's not the kind of person to feel ANY of these things, so this particularly alerted her. "What happened?" she thought to herself. She assessed the situation.

She felt lightweight. Practically ethereal. She usually sleeps in her normal, giant form... did she shrink herself before sleeping? Not that she could recall, but she felt even lighter than normal. Even though she felt lighter, she felt weaker somehow, too. But, she also felt... energized. It wasn't at all like the feeling of having an elder god's power coursing through her veins. It was more manageable, and pleasant. Was this actual magic? Perhaps it was.

Mere seconds had passed so far since she awoke and all these thoughts came to her. Now, she was starting to realize just how different her body was. Her vision felt blurry, less sharp than before, and yet... everything had a distance to it that she was completely unused to. She ran her fingers across her face. Two eyes, not one? So THIS is what depth perception is like? "... it's overrated," she decided. But, taking a look at her hands, she saw a human skin-tone. Shorter fingers, no webbing between them.

"Oh, no. Don't tell me I got turned into a human. That explains a lot."

But, when she got out of bed, she felt two weights dragging behind her. She stretched them out, and "... wings? Well then." So Sirina somehow ended up in the body of an Angel. Maybe some demiurge decided to mess with her, out of some sort of revenge for all the exploitation of them she's done. But, this wasn't so bad, really. She missed her massive physical strength, and imposing size, but her new body was not so hard on the eyes, and for the first time in her life, she felt actual magic flowing through her veins. Remarkable!

Now, Sirina wondered how she could get her imposing figure back, but in the mean time, maybe she could see what she could do in this body.

"Hello, new Angel" a voice rung through her head. "It just so happens I have a job for you."

Oh no.

((Yooooo!!!! That's a really great one VVV, I Love It!!!))

Yuri✦ pajuxi

Alyosha awoke to a throbbing headache, his sight blurry as he began to to attempt sitting up, apparently he had blacked out outside again; he really needed to cut back on his drinking habits. Groping somewhat blindly, Alyosha pushed himself up on the first thing his hand landed on and heard the item crunch metallically beneath his hand. Looking down to inspect whatever piece of junk he had smashed, he realized it was a trashcan. An industrial sized trash can. Alyosha's mind felt like it was moving impossibly slow. "What the fuck?..." He leaned over and inspected the smashed remains, it looked like a small model, only confusing him more before his gaze caught sight of his hand. His grey hand. At this sight his mind stepped on the gas, thoughts racing as he looked down to inspect his body, a body that definitely was not his and also towering at least 10 feet above the ground just sitting. Looking at the cleavage hanging off of his chest felt incomprehensible along with everything else, foreign hands feeling at the giant woman's body he was now in, Alyosha let out a somewhat hysterical, confused chuckle.

Oh.

That definitely was not his voice.

Alyosha fought off the urge to panic. He's never panicked before in his entire life! He always went with the flow, and he could go with the flow of this too!

Putting his hands down again, Alyosha slowly pushed himself up into standing, he felt unable to breath just from feeling how tall he was, looking above the second floor windows in the rundown apartments he was next too, every movement felt more and more unreal.

There was something kinda comforting about the unreality of it all, Alyosha pushed that feeling to the front of his mind, overshadowing the incoming feeling of dread, and grinned. This could be fun! Taking his first wobbling step, Alyosha realized the wobbling was both from adjusting to the new height but also the pink high-heels on his feet. This could not be any more weird. Stumbling around with 100% confidence and 0% grace, Alyosha stepped out towards the streets and tripped on a parked car, the car bending at where his foot made contact. He smiled wider at that. Property damage! Now he was starting to feel like a real monster in the cool way as he click-clacked with his giant heels through the streets, he should try to find his apartment and scare the shit out of Coco! Looking out into the distance, his eyes felt wrong, like something was messed up. He touched his face to discover only 1 giant eye in the middle of his head, honestly at this point it didn't even come as a shock, though definitely inconvenient in his hunt to make his boyfriend piss himself.

Generally knowing where he was, Alyosha made his way towards his home, interestingly enough what felt the most weird was to be walking around during daylight like this, and he was enjoying the curious experience of seeing familiar buildings during the day when people below started screaming at the sight of him. For some reason, that made him extremely uncomfortable, maybe it was because he was so used laying low in the darkness of the night, and being a spectacle brought forth all the bad feelings of confusion, panic and dread he initially felt at his body-switch. There wasn't anywhere for him to hide in a city like this, only fueling his slip into fear as he started to run, ground thudding beneath his footsteps. Change in plans, he needed Coco's help. Coco was smart, he always knew what to do and would bend over backwards for him no matter what. Coco would know it was him- wait, could he even talk?? Alyosha stopped in his tracks, uncharacteristically hesitating, before slowly opening his mouth and trying to speak in a quiet voice.

"It's me, Alyosha"

He felt a wash of relief at the human sounding words that came out of his mouth, even if it wasn't his voice and the low rumble in his throat felt wrong, Coco would know who he was.

//ends here because this is getting long LAUGHS I had a lot of fun with this GDFG

Serin Databuffer-Storage

Serin woke up with a start, a horrible tightness in his throat, and a feeling like his chest might implode. None of which was aided by the fact he was face down. Quickly he rolled onto his back, inhaling sharply to relieve that horrible feeling. It was something he hadn't had to do in awhile... most of his life support apparatus did those things for him on their own... They must have malfunctioned. After taking a few more deep breaths to stabilize himself, he uttered a short curse under his breath. The profanity left his his lips in an exhasperated manner.

"Adeon, I think I need to go in for-" He cut off abruptly, both noticing his voice, and finally noticing his surroundings after his close call with oxygen deprivation. This was not the ship. Adeon wasn't here, and he was alone from the looks of it. Quickly he resorted to replaying last night's events in his head. Had he gotten into a fight..? Had he gotten some type of modification..? If he did, it was a pretty damn expensive one! Looking at his arms, they looked like real flesh. Sure, they were off in color, but that was the only noticable difference. They were smaller too... no- scratch that, everything was smaller, he was at least a foot smaller, and he was thin, and weak looking... Why the hell...- thats a downgrade! Why would he pay money for that?!

The question arose of 'what the hell happened last night' once more, and it was not likely to be the last occurance of that thought either.

On closer inspection, he seemed entirely human- wonderful!- and from the looks of it, it wasn't made to resemble him in the slightest! Fantastic!. He rose to his feet finally. Stumbling for a short moment after compensating for the lack of machinery to handle the brunt of it for him. For a mere moment he debated the possbility of having somehow swapped boddies with someone- that, or he was in some sort of simulation... Yes. That was likely. His 'friends' were absolute freaks, that he could scarecly make heads or tails of. Definitely some sort of brank on their part. Some... weird... confusing joke. Maybe. Hopefully.

"Adeon, ok you can stop now. This is weird. Not funny, got it?" He called upwards once more, only to be met with silence, and the lingering thought of 'What the fuck'?

 Leo Greymalkin BlankStorefront

Leo woke with a jolt and immediately felt like he wasn't breathing; and he didn't need to. He touched his face, but only felt a smooth surface, and took notice that his hands were mechanical. He was robotic!
Erupting with panic, he examined himself closer. His torso felt more organic, but way more muscular than he was used to. While it was nice to feel no pain in his knee, he was filled with dread. Why was he even here? Why were there guns around? What happened to his body? Where even was he?
At this point, he couldn't keep himself together. He knelt on all fours, wailing.

(Sorry if I've misinterpreted anything!)

Angelo Summers bulgariansumo

Angelo jolts awake in a place he didn't recognize.

"Big Brother?? Aiden?? W-Where are you??"

His roommates are nowhere in sight. Odd. The ship wasn't supposed to land anywhere anytime soon. He couldn't pinpoint why, but something felt....off. He was the same height, about the same weight. He noticed his voice was more nasally than usual, but maybe he was sick.........Or dead.

Yes. He was dead. This is what Angelo decided. A sense of guilt overwhelmed him as he thought of how the crew and his brother must be taking it. What would Leon tell their parents?? Angelo began to cry profusely. He'd probably never see them again, because they're all too good to end up in the same place he's in. He figures he shouldn't get tears and snot all over this bed that was nicely provided to him, so he hobbles to the bathroom to dry his face off. There was an odd, dull pain in his knee. He wipes his face with a bunch of paper towels, burning with regret.

"What's the matter? You wanted to leave....didn't...you?" Angelo looks in the mirror to discover that in place of him, there's another guy with slightly longer, medium-brown hair.

"What the....?" Shocked, he gently caresses the scars on his new face and neck. He stares into his green, catlike eyes. "Who am I?"

Angelo felt overwhelmed. Where were his crewmates? His brother?? What happened to him? Was this some kind of experiment the Interstellar Forces was conducting? His ship was kind of a crew of guinea pigs but he never knew the IF was capable of doing something this...advanced. He began to breathe heavily. Then, he held the wall for support, eventually collapsing. Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through his knee. He holds it to his chest, crying.

No matter what body they put you in, He thought to himself, You'll always be a crybaby.

He hears someone calling for someone named Leo. Did they mean Leon? He can only hope that his brother is somewhere nearby.

Akane varkarrus

"Hey, Angelo! Where are you off to in such a hurry?" Leon said.

Akane was trapped inside some human's body, in a metal fortress she'd never seen before. She didn't have time for this. "Fuck off," she said, as gruffly as she could. She was in a male body, but was disappointed that she sounded less aggressive than usual.

"Wh-what? Come on, bro, talk to me. This isn't like you..." Leon said, completely in shock.

"What part of 'Fuck Off' do you not understand?" Akane turned towards Leon, and grabbed him by the collar of his uniform. To her immedate outrage and disgust, she completely lacked the physical strength needed to pick him up off the ground. This is even worse than the form I got when I was freed from that jar, she thought.

Leon hadnt even tried to escape her grip. Tears were forming in his eyes. "Angelo... come on, we're brothers, talk to me."

Akane let Leon go. "If 'Fuck Off' isn't in your vocabulary, then you can tell me where I can find a stiff drink in this fortress. I could go for anything."

"U-uh," Leon started to say. Angelo was only 15, but he couldn't say anything about that out loud... "Cantino's down the hall." At this point, he was too much in shock to even question how Leon forgot where the Cantino is.

Akane started walking away, her anxiety over this situation manifesting not as shakes, but as an almost-exaggerated grimace. "W-wait, that's not the way," Leon said to Akane as she turned a corner, but now Akane found herself in even more shock then before. She stood in the ship's observatory, looking out into open space. She couldn't keep it in anymore, she dropped to her knees and screamed.

"... You're not really Angelo, are you? Who are you, and what have you done to my brother?"

((This time round, tried something a little different than exploring the character's body... :P))

Aerodonis Ikayuro

Sigh.

What an odd, specific recurrence- Aerodonis would settle in for the night beneath his favourite rock, the waters surrounding him warmed by the underwater volcano that was ever so near. Each night he couldn’t have been more comfortable or secure, and yet each time he roused in the morning it seemed something had happened to his body.

First, it had been a dragon- Aerodonis had written it off as an awkwardly lucid dream, though he had finally come to terms with the fact that he didn’t hate it. It had been nice to stretch newfound wings, to wield fire as his own…

But this? This was something else entirely. Something he, even after several moments of staring at himself (and making himself rather dizzy, quite used to two eyes), could not bring himself to enjoy. He tried to close his eye, to force himself truly awake- to no avail. It seemed that he was stuck like this, for the time being- he might as well make the best of it, and see just what he could get away with.

 Basta Vrokros almagheist

Half awake and stirring in a groggy haze from whatever party from the night before, Basta laid still on his back. A dim, but colorful light was peeking its way into the room, creeping slowly on to his face.

"5 more minutes...it's fine," He mumbled to no one in particular, before turning his body to return comfortably to darkness before he felt a strange feeling when he tried laying his head down. His horns were small enough for him to be able to keep his head on the pillow no problem.  Sleepily reaching his hand upwards, he slid his fingers around what felt like...a much bigger set of horns. Horns that absolutely, positively were not his. And...hair? A whole lot of hair.

Throwing the covers off the bed he was normally comfortable enough in in almost a panic to get up to find something he could see his own reflection in, Basta wasn't greeted by the sight of his heavily tattooed legs but...but a tail? With fins?! Where the hell had his legs gone? His new lower half was too long even to stay on the bed. He winced as he moved his leg...er, tail and it responded as any other limb would.

Basta grumbled dismissively, putting his hands on his face and covering his whole body and head with the blanket again. He was sure of what was happening was just one of those weird dreams that feels real enough. It had to be...right? He had seen his fair share of strange things before but this was too strange, he had never even seen another species that looked like this. "That's it, no more spice...no more booze, no more nothing weird from that party from last night. No more."

Roxie Allen bulgariansumo

Roxie arose from her sleep and went to reach for the ladder leaning down from her bed, but she realized too late that there was none. Thud! She hit the ground unceremoniously, knocking her head against the floor. Wait....her hair should've at least cushioned some of that. Roxie goes to reach for her hair when she discovers that her arms are red with black markings. They were also thicker, longer, and more muscular than even the ones she's used to. She stands up and looks into a mirror.

"What the?? Woaaaaaaaaaaah!" She notices her new voice. "Woah!!! Woah, this is........TOTALLY SICK!!" Roxie's confusion turns to excitement as she examines her new form. "I could crush a car with these hands!!!" She bursts into a giddy laughter upon seeing the horns.

"This is so cool!!" She exclaims in her tall, muscular body while skipping around the room like a schoolchild. She bounces up and down, clapping her hands. Roxie notices the blaster near the bed. Whoever this is must be some kind of adventurer! Sweet!! She wishes he had a sword of some kind, though... That'd be aaawesome...

Roxie manages to find an ID of somekind hidden in a coat in the room.

"Basta Vrokos...? Vrokros?.....What a cool name~!!" Roxie takes the blaster and strikes a heroic pose. "Look out world! Get ready for the honorable Basta Vrokos!" She flashes a peace sign and winks.

((Andreas Thank you!! Oh my gosh, Roxie would probably loooove to swap places with Mira! (except for maybe the being hunted down part) She really loves dragons, and would probably be really happy to be partially one))

 Amy Oakford BlankStorefront

Amy cackled. She couldn't quite figure out how she felt; she was clearly a different being in unfamiliar territory... but was this bad?
This body had no interference!
She started to get giddy, flapping her wings vigorously and excitedly. She didn't really have flying down, though, as she only briefly got off the ground before dropping down awkwardly. Yet, she hardly cared about that, or her confusion about this body in the first place.
"Good riddance, Amy!"

Of course, she was still oblivious to what troubles lurked around the corner in this place.
