Design Notes.
- Was designed with Lofthouse cookies in mind because at the time I was designing her, I had a MASSIVE craving for desserts in general so I decided to project that onto her design
- Overall design was based around the heart suit of cards and Alice from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
- 4 feet (121.92 centimeters) in height.
- Uses a toy hammer as her weapon when in Protector form.

- Her second last name (Amano) is meant to be Japanese, and in Kanji it would be read as 天野, which can be read as "heaven field".
- On that note, Holly is, in real-world terms, meant to be Japanese.
- Her birthday, while it would be written as 10/12 in-universe, is pretty much October 12 in real-world terms, making her a libra.
- Holly's magic typically revolves around illusions; meant to be similar to the light magic of her sister Hana, for illusions can be caused by light. Also related to how Alice's experience in Wonderland was a dream, and the concepts of dreams and illusions can go hand-in-hand at times.
- Her familiar being named Alison is (again) a reference to Alice in Wonderland.
Holly, even at a young age, was always curious about the world around her and as a result constantly wanted to be able to explore everything she possibly could. However, she ended up being relatively sheltered by her parents, even being homeschooled with her sister, and primarily stayed within the safe, quiet area of the fishing village of Saint-Alizée...or at least the parts of it where her parents could easily find her, much to her chagrin.
But things changed when she was chosen to be a Protector for Delacroix. As a result of being chosen, Holly’s parents finally let her go beyond the boundaries of Saint-Alizée and allowed the curiosity within her to be satisfied. As a Protector of Delacroix, Holly now ends up in dangerous situations a lot more frequently, both because of her hot-headed and stubborn nature and also because of the sense of danger that came with being a Protector. And with this danger, she also makes new discoveries over the course of the series, some perhaps being even more than her adventurous mind had even bargained for...
