Fallon Rousseau

Fallon is the refined and mature owner of a hole in the wall cafe by day, bar by night establishment called Aegis. His specialty is creating personalized drinks for his regular customers. Fallon is also known for offering advice that may seem vague, but somehow always ends up helping. He leads a simple life and is only put together in the sense that he can take care of his basic needs. Fallon is a bit of a pessimist and doesn’t actually want to help those who dump their woes on him after a few drinks; or so he thinks. Even though he claims to find it bothersome, Fallon has offered his hand to people who have fallen and can’t see a way out.

Although he is quite the charmer now, Fallon did not learn these skills overnight. On the contrary, when Fallon was young he was withdrawn and at times, a little rude towards others when they irritated him. Fallon preferred to keep to himself and made sure others knew that about him. It wasn’t until he was shown kindness from the man who adopted him that Fallon began wanting to change that part of him. Initially, it was difficult and Fallon found himself feeling exhausted after every social interaction that forced him to step outside of his comfort zone. As time went on, however, Fallon started to find his footing. It was hard for him to admit that he enjoyed what laid behind the door he had shut so long ago, but he was sure that without the kind man who took him in, Fallon would have ended up becoming a much different person. Fallon regards many things in his life to be uncertain but he is certain of that fact.

Fallon continues to overlook Aegis’s operations and has become somewhat of an advisor for not only his customers, but for the new owners of the surrounding businesses. Many new businesses have opened up in the area and Fallon can’t help but notice how the neighborhood is changing quickly. He isn’t opposed to it and actually finds it quite refreshing–especially when the newcomers are friendly and interesting. While he isn’t much older than the others, Fallon undoubtedly has the most experience. Fallon has even started hiring help for Aegis. Nowadays, it’s commonplace for Fallon to find himself trading tips with new business owners, teaching his very inexperienced staff how to make something as simple as a vodka tonic, and even feeding the tired astronomer who comes in practically everyday. For someone who once preferred to stay clear of people, Fallon has found himself surrounded by many who he would consider important to him.
