Korin's Links
To be frank... Dorian is kind of an idiot... BUT he's exactly the kind of idiot that succeeds at the kinds of things he does, one of which was inspire a down-and-out former Royal Guard to take a second lease on life. I'll follow him to the ends of known space and beyond without question. o7
Never quite been able to read Korin, but he's as good as they come at what he does an' that's all i need ta know. >:-)
She's shown a love of mischief that I don't really share but she's not made me a target of it thusfar, plus as usual for a Dorian hiree she's as good as they come in her particular field. I have no issue. :-)
Korin is kinda weird, he really never talks to anybody but Dorian unless it's task or mission related. Buuuut he is a crazy good fighter and I'd never doubt that he has my back. :-)
If he spent half as much time training as he did making certain his hair was perfectly disheveled then he'd be an outstanding combatant... As it is he's merely a good one. >.>;
We do not speak... Zis is an arrangement I have no issue with. <.<;
She spends less time preening than Ryan, but just as much time, if not more, feeding her voracious sexual appetites... Too much lack of focus from both Kasparov twins. >:-(
Ze mothman seems to disapprove of some perceived lack of discipline from my brother and I... But are we not pirates? We may enjoy ze spoils whenever we choose, even ze carnal ones. ;-3
Sonia and I are kindred spirits in a way... Though she's not a Spark Sickness sufferer she WAS a slave to a way of life that she could not longer withstand for her own sanity. In a way I suppose we all were to some extent, but her status as a military officer makes it hit closer to home. :-)
Most of the crew takes issue with how quiet Korin can be but he's loyal as hell and DAMN can he swing a sword! He is and will likely stay my go to sparring buddy. :-)
Miss Vega is hard-working and long-suffering, I don't think she knows the meaning of leisure... Which is saying something coming from me... Even I give myself the opportunity to brood in dark rooms from time to time. >.>
Honestly? Korin might be the most formidable fighter I have ever known, both in terms of blade finesse and aether skill. Yet he's as loyal as they come, it's a wonder what the Captain said to bring him in... I think I would've been too intimidated to say a thing. ^.^;
I've seen First Mate Vega's reports, he's good, but not good enough. Either Sonia or myself should be able to handle him with little issue if he makes an attempt on the Captain's life... Some part of me welcomes the challenge.
I've heard that Dorian's got a very strong veteran under his wings, one who favors using two swords. Can't say I'd envy getting in close with him unless I broke his weapons first.
I'll be keeping an eye on this one... Someone has to wisen him up to Agent Gozenrei's antics. (-_-)
I don't think he's ever spoken to me. He's almost always in the room when the crew is together but he just kind of leans up against the wall, watching everyone else. He's a bit unsettling, but I don't feel any ill intent from him. ^^;
If you'd told me that panicking child we took in would become one of the crew's greatest assets I'd have called you insane, yet here we are. Pride in someone else is a new emotion, but not an unwelcome one.
After sparring with him for years on end and reaching a point that I can defeat anyone and everyone I've needed to, I still can't so much as lay a finger on Korin in a fight. His reflexes are the only thing faster than his biting wit. x)
Underneath the layers of freckles and fear is a surprisingly bold little fox, if she can be taught to harness that then we'll have a pirate worth her salt. Till then I'm content to watch her fumble in the face of the Captain... his happiness and her discomfort are equally entertaining.
He's so quiet... I thought I was quiet...
He has a lot of strength, but lacks finesse. If the occasion called for it I could take him out rather easily, but he seems to be enjoying retirement.
In Hunting as well as life, it's important to know one's own limitations, and even in my prime I don't think I could've brought in Korin Hanyokai, he's on a completely different level. Luckily for all of us the Scourge's new attitude seems to be keeping him mostly out of trouble. >.>;
He is my greatest rival, in combat I can't be touched, but in cuisine? I've met my match, he's the wall I must aim to break through. >:-)
There is but one thing that would give me the advantage should I face her, greater willingness for self-sacrifice. Make no mistake, if she dares threaten this crew I'll throw everything I have until there's nothing left of me, can this ambitious child with her sights set on personal glory honestly say the same?
What's this? A rare potential challenge? Not quite, maybe if he caught me with my guard down, but he rather amusingly believes himself to be "too honorable" for such a thing... a pirate... too honorable. Don't make me laugh. X(
