Background

On 1st of September, it was announced that Symphony will be releasing an extended play soon on their official website the concept album design was released. On 11 September, the comeback trailer Outro: End of a World Music Video was released, the music video was animated and a solo by Grey, it's beat is an energetic rock and hip-hop song on the surface the lyrics talks about Grey's diss to those who are close minded, Grey had also slightly confirmed of the LGBTQ references hidden within the music video on a livestream they had in 2021 after the release of their solo extended play, Caplico.

On the 24th of October, the teaser for Here was released on the official channel, on the 1st of November, Symphony held a comeback live to promote the music video, originally there wasn't supposed to be one but Kelly and Hijiri planned the event for the members on their own. On the 1st of November 2018, Here Music Video was released, where it's a music video where when the Symphony members are down, they will always have each other to cheer them on. Yuuko's part where she plays a livestreamer, reflects a lot on their situation and gained the most attention and sympathy from fans. There was no individual teaser but Grey and Teruko wrote unofficial scripts and frames for a potential teaser just a day before the music video released, spoiling quite a few things.

A surprise, unannounced music video for seize the crown was released on the 21st of November, it's about fighting for something dark and is a lot different from the rest of the music, a lot of fans thought it was a hidden track. The music video took a very dark turn for a song that sounds very upbeat.

Composition & Lyrics

The album consists of mainly pop, rock and EDM, the album starts with an instrumental track that is fully produced by Grey and HiMit, Grey had talked about this intro in which they did use Madoka and Teruko's vocals for background choirs, Grey had made it with the theme of the album in mind without spoiling too much of the story line, it is a piece that starts slow and builds to be fast paced and goes back to being slow, very much like a musical piece. Hue is a pop centric song that talks about having confidence and friendship, this is considered a fan song as Grey did write it to their fans but they had also wrote it to their members, Grey and Takumi produced the song together and Grey said this was the fastest song to complete due to Takumi and Grey's musicality being similar.

The next track is Seize the Crown which is a pop rock song that has a very upbeat melody but very dark lyrics, it's about human greed and lust after all the riches and power and going crazy for what one doesn't have, Grey did take part in producing a part of it but Kelly and Teruko had also played a bigger part than them. The fourth track is the title track, Here is moombathon with trap-pop that talks about having each other's back but the lyrics also talked about underlying doubts through rhetorical questions. Monster is a dancehall track that talks about excepting the monstrous side of themselves, dancing without a care of what others think, this is a sarcastic clap back to all their haters who believed that the girls needed to do more girly dances and guys needed to do more hip hop dances the instrumental part which mixes classical and dubstep together was meant to be for a dance break which they did in end of the year performances.

Heartbeat is a tropical house song that speaks of heartbeats beating as one underneath the beautiful night sky, Grey said that they wrote this when they were filming Today's Symphony Season 2 when they went to australia. Outro: End of a World was something Grey had written and produced in the shortest period time, it wasn't supposed to be a part of the album but HiMit thought it was a good song for the outro, so she gave it to them, an acoustic mix was uploaded on their Menie where Teruko contributed his singing in.
