| Short description The mysterious halcylian who leads Zevelia group. In the past - Vincent's trusted counselor who turned out to be a traitor. Highly respected and admired in halcylian society, a native inhabitant of Halmaime Island. Basically the main boss (along with Flanve Averna) of the halcylian mafia that Variel's organisation tries to fight with. Powerful, charistmatic leader with huge knowledge about halcylians and their Light Gift itself. Protects all the halcylian criminals and rules the whole group of them. As he used to live on the holy island for long time, he knows a lot of weird halcylian tales and legends that later become very important source for the Zevelia as well. He is the one who discovered parts of Zefir's tale and came out with the whole missing link-key theory (basing on beliefs that the missing link person who will be able to connect with the Master's Spirit (Zefir) could be Ariamon Zaivar). While Variel's organisation tries to prevent the crimes of Zevelia group, it seems like Endei's homeland's rulers secretly protect and support the halcylian mafia. Endei heavily believes in the High Halcylians Theories and he claims that his main goal is just to make the world better - full of halcylians, not so full of people. He is quite an interesting character, as even though he takes the place intended for the villain he can't be seen just a plain evil villain. In the end Endei completely changes, truly regrets creating Zevelia and tries to get rid of the last parts of it... because even if it gets destroyed, the Newcomers will never stop appearing. |

| Relations Vincent - the former leader of Ausurius who Endei used to work with since many years. Endei was Vincent's trusted counselor who manipulated him in all the possible ways. Vincent always believed that Endei is right and more clever than him, so he let him make many important decisions, which actually weren't that good for the society. Even when Vincent finally opened his eyes and realised that Endei acts very suspicious by doing everything to protect halcylian criminals, he still wasn't brave enough to fire him. Endei shots Vincent in 1914 as a revenge for breaking some very important halcylians' rules on the Halmaime Island. Variel - Variel sees Endei as his enemy and vice versa, both of them want to get rid of each other's organisations. For Variel Endei is also the person who he really wants to get a revenge on for personal reasons, as he literally killed his dad in front of his eyes. Since Vincent's death Variel tries to do everything he can to prove who Endei really is, and finally, sentence him to right punishment, but it's not easy at all. Just after his father's death, young Variel had run an investigation against him, because no one believed that Endei could be the one who murdered Vincent. Variel did a good job on this and now everyone knows the truth about Vincent's death, but Endei never got his punishment. For long time Variel doesn't even know that Endei is the Zevelia's leader (however he suspects that he's definitely one of its members) - after shooting Vincent, Endei disappeared for long time and no one knew where he is. When it becomes 100% clear, Variel is even more motivated to fight against Zevelia.Endei himself never really liked Variel, even as a child, as he was so curious and nosy and ALREADY suspected a lot about him. Currently, when Variel became the new Ausurius' boss, Endei seems to treat him more serious than he treated his dad in the past, and patiently waits for the right moment when Zevelia should get rid of him. He's actually quite interested in how Variel deals with his role, but still, hates him with passion (it's worth to mention that Endei COULD'VE become the next Ausurius' leader if Variel hadn't took any actions against him. It would be absolutely horrible, as Endei planned to transform Ausurius into Zevelia's headquarters). Rosalia - one of the best and most faithful Zevelia's members, a Newcomer. Endei seems to favor her over the other members and even when he is disappointed with her actions, he is always willing to give her a second chance. Both her and her sister Violet are treated more specially than other female Newcomers, as they're the only ones who are able to get pregnant. In fact Rosalia knows it only because...she had got pregnant with Endei. Unfortunately she miscarried the child; now it's their own secret and they never talk about it. Rosalia always hopes that Endei really feels something towards her, but actually - she is not the only woman that he had some romance with. Endei respects her more than other Newcomers, but definitely doesn't love her. Other Zevelia members - all of them seem to respect and admire Endei (of course with exceptions of these ones who got forced to join this group). If it comes to Newcomers (the mysterious beings that randomly appear out of nowhere only to join Zevelia), Endei is quite aware of WHAT are they and understand that they're not fully halcylian-humans. It often looks like that Zevelia's leaders don't treat them with equal respect, unless they have some special abilities or are stronger than the rest (as they know that new Newcomers are constantely being created, + they always have short lifespan). They treat them more like slaves and even don't mind killing some of them from time to time if they consider that it's necessary. Rainil - the very special Newcomer that is important for all the Zevelia's bosses, even though he doesn't take a part in their actions, as he's too weak for using his inner energy. Rainil is the only one person being able to "communicate" with the Master and spread their words through his "family", he can predict a lot of things (like when and where the next Newcomers will appear), that's why he's so important for the halcylian mafia, despite he's not active there as the ones who murder and manipulate others. They treat him like their prophet, even though he's not proud of it at all. Endei sees him as something precious and doesn't want to lose him. Rainil predicts one special thing that later becomes VERY important for Endei, but it's a part of the young gen's story. Flanve Averna - real name Hayden Zaivar, the second leader and founder of Zevelia. Endei had probably met him on Halmaime Island in the past (Flanve was a guest there). They seem to have neutral relations, but it's easy to notice that Endei is more respected than Flanve. Flanve takes more actions than Endei, who is more responsible for planning strategies and exploring dark halcylian knowledge. Ariamon - thanks to Oraiel, Ariamon's younger brother who used to be Zevelia's member, Endei knows that Ariamon is a non-halcylian person who was born in a big halcylian family. Quickly after Endei came up with the missing link theory, he started to think that the missing link person could be Ariamon himself. He believes that he is the key to release the Master's Spirit (Zefir), so the whole Zevelia wants to get him and start experimenting on him. Spoiler: Endei is wrong. Ariamon is the missing link person, but he has nothing to do with Zefir. The key to Zefir's awakening is actually Ariamon's son. Halmaime's Queen - technically this is a secret, but Endei is actually Halmaime's Queen lover. The Queen is a suspicious figure since the very beginning and she definitely hides some dark secrets. It's not clear how did it start, there is quite big age difference between them, but they seem to be in a serious relationship which they keep as a secret. Due to the fact that Endei's Zevelia was formed in Europe, these two meet each other very rarely, but somehow they still care for each other. A fun fact: just after murdering Vincent, Endei had escaped to Halmaime. The island's government had informed Ausurius that he was found dead there, so they don't have to look for him anymore, which of course wasn't true at all. They faked his death just to keep him safe and it was all the Queen's idea. Arkadius - Despite Arkadius is against Zevelia, he tries to keep a communication with Endei, as he is fascinated with the Newcomers thing himself. They treat each other with some kind of respect, but Endei secretly wants to have Arkadius on his side. No matter how hard he would try, Rievan always chooses to stay away from Zevelia and protect Ausurius' members. The inventor gets in trouble, when he finally makes a suspicion that the Zevelia is secretly supported by Queen of Halmaime. |
| Some other fun facts - First concepts of this character come from 2012, but in that moment his role in my story was completely different than now. He was still meant to be some kind of a villain though. - Only the most important members of Zevelia know Endei's true name. He goes by many alter names, some of them are Ivrion, Mothfinder, Arainu, Argento, Ennard Eufel. - Before joining Ausurius, when he still used to live on Halmaime Island, Endei was an actor and comedian. He has a great skill in acting and imitating voices, which is still useful for him. - Yes, his hair color is actually natural. Some Halmaime's natives just have it, it's always seen as something very positive on the island, it's a reason to feel proud (that's why other halcylians tend to dye their hair with gentian violet...) - Endei used to keep in touch with Vincent's brother Lucien, who had some own contribution to Zevelia as well. - When speaking to Zevelia members, he usually wears a silver mask and white cape. Some of them (like Rosalia) know how he really looks like though. - Endei will be still present in youngest generation's story (around 20 years later). And will have awesome purple beard. |
