If there's one thing in life you can count on, it's that Bailey will always be there to deliver the paper first thing at dusk. He's nothing if not consistent, and although no one knows where he gets his product from, it's sure to be of the highest quality- and completely complementary, too! If you wake up early enough, you'll see Bailey drop off the day's information with a nod and a wink, and sometimes a "good day!" before taking off and repeating the routine at the next hive. Once he's considered his job done enough and his neighborhood sector informed, he'll run off somewhere to go play, just as kids his age should; the ideal existence.

Bailey's certainly an interesting case when examining trolls on the street, to say the least, even though he seems normal upon first glance. He just seemed to appear out of nowhere one day, apparently to serve the higher purpose of delivering the paper, and has been completing his directive ever since he got to Alternia. His existence is completely unexplainable, yet entirely laughable; Bailey himself has even referred to his unique tendencies as his 'gimmick' in casual conversation. Regardless, no one's getting any information out of him anytime soon, so we might as well drop the topic altogether and accept the fact that Bailey's job, as always, is to be there, first thing at dawn, to deliver the paper.

Abilities

UNTOUCHABLE: Call it plot armor, call it divine will, call it favoritism, call it whatever you like, but the universe decrees that no harm can befall Bailey Cikxey. He's managed to win over the heart of the planet himself and as such, can stumble through life without worrying about the consequences of his naiivete. Though Bailey appears to be easy pickings to a passing predator, when they try to pursue him, they'll find that Bailey's actually quite a hard target to pin down- not because of any physical differences or cunningness, but rather simply because increasingly unlikely circumstances keep getting in the way to keep Bailey safe.

EXTRADIMENSIONAL PAPERBOY: Bailey is almost more akin to a caged outer god than he is to your average 7-year-old. Every day, Baliey shows up at the Mouse House with the day's paper, in traditional newspaper format (which are no longer in production), and then leaves to go play with Mallna. No one knows where he gets it from, but it's accurate and matches the one online exactly. When asked about the paper, he shrugs and says "I'm a paperboy," and then refuses to elaborate. He can produce seemingly infinite amounts of newspapers from his pockets, but will only distribute one to each person who asks.

Notes

• Bailey constantly refers to old things that don't exist anymore, like "aeroplanes", "omnibuses", and "horsecars". No one knows where he gets his vernacular or accent from.
• His lusus, a St. Bernard hound, is also Bailey's mount for paper deliveries.
• Bailey wears suspenders with every single outfit, even and especially when they are unnecessary or decorative.
• He carries around 'penny candy' in his pockets, which is just code for sugar wafers pressed in the shape of Caegars.
• Bailey is loathe to take his hat off except for when inside, so he always has hat hair.

Mallna Oradel [ Perfect Playmate ]

Mallna is the best person in the whole city to play with. She's always got the most fun games, and if anything ever goes sideways, she can protect you with her great big hammer and it'll be a really fun show to watch. Everything about her is all thumbs up!

Hadara Dracma [ Sister Savior Supreme ]

Hadara's the person Bailey runs to, crying, when he's got a difficult interpersonal problem he can't quite figure out. Ever the wiser, Hadara always has just the right thing to say in every situation in order to make everything better. That's why she's the bestest!
