Mirage Alviva

A purple blood with the ability to manipulate the way others percieve the world around them.

Mirage is the owner and ring leader of Mirage's Menagerie, a massive conglomerate of circuses that Mirage has acquired in her persuit of "Making the circus and the culture around and inspired by it more accessible to the masses." which is another way of saying she wants a monopoly.

The Menagerie has many performers, but any regulars might notice that only a select few are ever seen more than once. While the public simply assumes Mirage lets starry eyed trolls try their skills to see if they are fit to stay, the reality is much much worse. In fact, the Menagerie is a place where those that need to be forgotten end up, whether by Mirage's hands herself, or through her goons and allies. For the right price, she'll "Rehome" anyone for however long is needed. Children are not excluded.

The vast majority of people will never actually see the real Mirage. She only truly shows herself when in the company of close allies or to threaten her enemies into closing a deal. There are, however, a few ways to figure out if you're looking at fake or not, such as: Her eyes do not spiral or do not have her spiral pupils, she stops refering to herself as "we" and "us", and any reflections may be inaccurate or deformed, if not full on monsterous.

Mirage is a master at the art of gaslighting, and is a major threat to any that dare oppose her. After all, it's hard to fight against something you can't see. It's even harder to fight against something that controls what you see.
