Aside from his misguided financial ventures, Brokyr loves (most, not all) animals! He also works out regularly (something he is happy to brag about) and likes surfing with his childhood buddy, Kvarke. He REALLY hates Violetbloods and Fuchsiabloods, mostly because of class bitterness, personal jealousy and influence from other seadweller-haters, partially from getting kicked out of private-owned beaches with Kvarke, and a little bit because of Pephia.

Brokyr earns less in monthly allowance than other purplebloods due to insulin costs for his (badly managed) Diabetes type 1, which he also tells almost no one about. He does risky things for/with money to offset this. It's not easy living with an autoimmune disease on a planet like Alternia- it's a weakness too easy to use against him. He also has ADHD!
