PERSONALITY
Oxalis is pretty self-absorbed and loves attention and to be spoiled; he is perfectly happy being a gorgeous bit of eye candy, the envy of all. He can also be kind of a himbo. He's generally nice and enthusiastic. He isn't afraid to admit when he doesn't know something, and enjoys listening and learning and trying new things. He is quite flirty and outgoing.
BACKSTORY
Orchilox
Oxalis was something special.
Blessed with wings, her strangeness captured the attention of Prince Vaiherre. They hit it off immediately, talking endlessly, laughing, and it took only a few visits before he extended her the honor of returning to the castle with him. Adoring the attention, Oxalis accepted. She was not born into poverty, but she knew her life couldn't compare to the opulence that royalty was afforded. It didn't matter that she still didn't know him well: it was right.
For a long time, it was right. Oxalis was happy to be Vaiherre's crown jewel. Vaiherre lavished attention on him, and he gradually picked up responsibilities to assist, becoming Vaiherre's right hand. He loved the praise, and he loved to serve. He was host, secretary, manager, cook, event planner, and more. Anything to lessen the load on his darling prince and free up more time for him, him, him.
But eventually, it soured. Vaiherre, bound to his royal duties, grew restless and distant. He craved to see the stars, but his duty prevented him, and this was a wish Oxalis couldn't grant. So, she did the next best thing: she brought him guests. Any alien she could call from the far off reaches of space, she brought to him for conversation and company. She thought, if she slaked his desire, things would return to how they once were. But they didn't. He paid more attention to the guests than her; she lashed out, and their arguments pushed him further and further away.
Earth
But Oxalis wasn't bound to the planet like Vaiherre was. It had been a nasty fight, and he had only meant to go on a small trip and take a break. But something went wrong. He ended up lightyears off-course and crash landed on fantasy-Earth in the 1800s deep in a forest, far from anything that remotely resembled the cities and palaces he spent his life in.
He was saved from certain death by Wolf, who became his best friend and helped him learn to survive, and eventually he came to be revered by the locals as a forest god. It was uncomfortable, at first--he had never been revered as a leader like Vaiherre had been--but he grew to love the adoration. Besides, he had never been one to say no to a good festival.
