Alana's been having nightmares, multilayered nightmares, to the point where she struggles to tell what's real and what isn't. But she's starting to feel she doesn't have anyone to turn to for help. Who's she to bother her friends, who deal with so much worse?

Everyone on the team knew that something was up between Ken and his father. It was impossible not to. He’d mention things—things that weren’t normal. And his lack of knowledge in certain areas couldn’t be blamed on being an Angel. How did he not know what ice cream was, or that it was normal to hug your father and have parties?
But they never really knew how bad it was until Ken lost his flash drive.

A mean trick leads to Ken being captured by his father, trapped in the manor he'd been beginning to regard as Hell itself. Disillusions is determined to find him and bring him out, but how much damage will be done by the time they do?
