Ceto is a member of the O3C, who was cursed to have a number of appendages similar to tentacles grow in place of their hair by a sea nymph.

Appearance

Ceto stands tall at 5'10. They have a muscular swimmer's build. Their hair is replaced by tentacle-like appendages with super strength, that move idly on their own when Ceto is standing still. They usually wear comfortable casual clothing like hoodies, but their "typical outfit" is a sleeveless aqua windbreaker over a wetsuit top and sandy colored swim trunks. They always wear a scallop shell around their neck to remind them of the sea nymph that cursed them.

Personality

Personality wise, Ceto is very intense, but a positive presence to those around them, with magnetic social energy. They're very confident in their abilities, despite their main source of power not being innate magic like the others, but it's not an overblown confidence. They're very sure of themselves. They're also usually reserved emotionally, but come off as easygoing and use very casual language when talking to others. They also pride themselves on being honest. They take it upon themselves to make sure everyone gets along, and is usually a mediator when issues do arise socially.

Ceto grew up a normal human until their father murdered a sea nymph on a fishing trip. The nymph's sister cursed their father's firstborn (Ceto) with tentacle-like hair. The media attention drew the attention of Perthro and Ceto joined the O3C as a way to use their resources to find the sea nymph who cursed them. This curse, they learned, was irreversible. Ceto at this point was driven by revenge and was a more angry person. Morgan tried very hard to befriend them.

Later, they did meet the sea nymph, but forgave her when the nymph apologized for the pain that she had obviously caused them. They remain friends and the nymph gave Ceto a special scallop shell necklace that gives them the power to breathe underwater and swim with great stamina. They still keep in touch.

Skills and Abilities

Ceto has been cursed a long time ago by a sea nymph, and now grows appendages similar to tentacles from their head in place of their hair. These appendages have superhuman strength, proportional to tenfold Ceto's normal strength in all aspects (i.e, lift, or ability to apply force in the form of crushing). They also drift around in a way that some find unsettling; they seem to feel objects near and around Ceto's immediate vicinity, which is an automatic reaction to stimuli.

These appendages have a pattern on them similar to the appearance of a mimic octopus. This pattern stays consistent across the entire tentacle, ending at the crown of the head in a sort of bullseye pattern. Usually, Ceto wears a beanie or another type of hat, except when on missions.

Ceto has a passive ability to move through water effortlessly, and breathe underwater. This is due to the seashell given to them by the sea nymph.

Ceto also is adept at using polearm weaponry, preferring to use a magic harpoon-shaped spear that Perthro gifted them after a particularly intense mission. This harpoon glows underwater similar to a glowstick.
