He has sworn fealty to the Kingdom's fiercely prudish King, and to his charges and any who would come after his Lordship-- Hane supposedly takes his duties seriously, though he can often seem jovial in comparison to others in his position. He is assured in his workmanship, but secretly, not so invested in what he does for his Lordship. It is a means to an end-- to work with a wide berth and not be watched over so thoroughly-- but it took him quite some time to get there.

His work is practically his life, though a lot of his work is spent not really working (and he hopes to keep it that way)...! He is an independent lad with an overly competitive streak, and often has his hands in many pies that aren't his own business. Most notably is his Lordship's interest in finding a way to send the Yasiara into ruins, and so he keeps close tabs on the building. Very... Close... Tabs.

He can be a little too brash and crude in attitude when on his own. When in the presence of his master and his fellow nobles, he sure does pipe down-- but that devious smirk is hard to hide!
