He would be quick to call himself another perfectionist mage, as they are quite common where this special job is concerned.

He went a little too far at some point and can't, um.... uncurse.... his curse. Little does he know an actual entity is kind of taking up room with him, believing his issues to be mostly aesthetical at this point-- Gale has a fairly good grasp on it at the moment, but there's no telling when it'll take over completely, and if he will be able to control it at that point.

His obsession with his magic powers makes him a great fit in Neeya's militia. He doesn't necessarily believe in the cause of their army, but rather enjoys having an excuse to do what he pleases with his powers, as long as it suits the militia's needs in the moment... And even then, he goes out and about on his own, discreetly, at times; visiting the Yasiara is one of his private diversions (or so he thinks, he can be a bit clueless about how he comes off or his own placement in regards to those around him).
He hesitates on visiting too often on account of seeing many others within the ranks scuttling about there as well, never having been one to cavort with his seemingly lesser comrades... Not to mention his stupid younger brother makes a show about skulking around there, too, which is damn near shameful to see.
But, still, he has needs, and he finds the inn to be quite relaxing, seemingly satiating his curse's hunger.

Overall, he is a lone figure in the militia, a stuffy battle academic that takes himself too seriously, compared to how others see him.

Trivia

• Is fine with being nicknamed 'Gale', though he prefers being called by his proper name if given a choice
• Though he can be very perceptive to his surroundings and others, he is not perceptive at all when it comes to his own matters!
• When the entity residing in his body takes over, Gale cannot remember what transpires during those times
• He goes out of his way to kick Straude out of the inn when visiting, paying extra to do so
• A bit of a clean freak and will take far too long in the baths if given the chance. Traveling without consistent cleaning moments is what he considers the only drawback to his duty
