Regina Maelstrom's Links
He's one of the bounty hunter regulars around here. I don't talk with him much, but he's here a lot.
You'd think regular people walking in for dinner or socializing wouldn't go to the same place as people wanting to go to the bar or look for information on bounties, but I don't think anyone really has to worry about trouble when you've got a lady like this watching the place.
If this kid wants to know how big I am, all I have to do is pick him up. With one finger.
Regina seems really big. It's a little hard to tell since Emdrica is just so active and bustling, but I feel like I'll never really understand how big she is unless she stops by Xyarok. Or... I dunno, I visit Emdrica and we figure out something else.
Hm, never heard of creatures our size on land, but I'll believe it.
Back in my day, we had more demons your size just wandering around. I think they almost all disappeared after the First War, but the oceanic ones are still kicking obviously.
Jack's probably one of the few people who'd give a fair job to a sea monster on land, instead of like, suggesting I go to some freak show or work at an aquarium or water show. I left the ocean to do something not involving water, okay?
Regina is the best security I've ever had for the bar in ages. Never expected to have a sea monster lady in my employ, but there had to be a reason why we have that lake out back.
Found this dork in the forest years ago when he was a kid, and he's been mooching off of Jack ever since. I always worry about the day he's not going to come wandering back into the bar anymore, but don't tell him that.
She's kinda like a giant-monster-mom of sorts, but she's not quite old enough for that. But she's also too old to be a giant-monster-older-sister though, so maybe a giant-monster-aunt?
I've never actually seen a normal Drinity yet... since Dremvati's usually in her humanoid form. She's mentioned they're nowhere near as big as sea monsters, but I still wouldn't mind seeing them just because.
Some of the Drinity can get pretty monstrous, but that's nothing compared to the Aaquanixie sea monsters. I can thank Maelstrom for enlightening me about how minuscule we actually are.
Jack sure likes to adopt these sad little kids, huh? Zetheriz is the scrawniest of the bunch, and possibly the saddest in some aspects. And yet he seems the most optimistic somehow. He usually doesn't know when to give up, which is honestly a good thing. And when he does, well, we're usually around to change his mind.
I don't think it's really the case, but somehow it feels like Regina has gotten taller since I first saw her. If anything she should seem less big since I've grown, but I dunno. I used to be afraid of her, but now she's a comforting constant.
