Ginger is kind, generous, and good-natured, however skittish. His timidness tends to get him into trouble. In another life, he would've been a good artist, as he enjoys painting, drawing, cooking, and music. His checkered background has left him without many social skills. Although he is tender with his friends and tries to do what he believes is right, his tactics are underhanded and often manipulative. Ginger enjoys simple things in life and doesn't want or need any lavish belongings to be happy.
Although he's tolerant of others, under his exterior, he's a conniving former general with advanced understanding of warfare, battle tactics, and combat. Ginger is analytical and intelligent, but sabotages his own potential through his self-critical talk and low sense of worth.
- His parents are named Beatrix and Bhaltair. Ginger is close with his parents, who are living in hiding elsewhere in the country after escaping captivity. He is definitely a mama's boy, and his temperament is similar to his dad. That said, he got his combat prowess from his mum.

Ginger's real name is Miltiades. He grew up on the Northern Plateau, one of the more advanced societies that exist. His parents were knights. He was very much loved and spoiled rotten by his well-spoken and affectionate parents. At a young age, he was promised to serve the royal family.
Sponsored by the royal family along with other children who were set to become members of the king's elite guard, Miltiades attended a prestigious military school to receive the finest education possible. While away, the painfully shy Ginger made his first friend in the name of Sedna, a prisoner of war kidnapped and forced to attend the school.
The two were close friends for a long time. When Miltiades turned fifteen, he joined the Northern Plateau's army and helped conquer several neighbouring regions. His accomplishments during the war led to him becoming a general at a young age. Along the way, he and his army committed terrible crimes against the regions they conquered and razed whole towns to the ground, with his parents held hostage to ensure his cooperation. In the meantime, Sedna had escaped when her grandmother came to save her.
Eventually, Miltiades decided to officially desert and went on the run from the Northern Plateau's army, wandering south until he came to the community of Werlock. It just so happened that his old childhood friend, Sedna, also lived in Werlock as well. Thus far, she hasn't exposed his identity as a runaway war criminal, but she resents him for the terrible things he's done. Here, Miltiades lives in hiding under the name Ginger.

Ginger is undyingly loyal to Torah. He has had a crush on her from the beginning and feels guilty for hiding his past from her, although he underestimates exactly how much Torah is aware of. She makes him feel safe and loved!
Ginger's relationship with Siddhartha is split between being a victim of relentless pranks and being defended by him. Siddhartha is compassionate to Ginger, even if he does tease him. Their relationship is comfortable and relaxed, and Siddhartha often eases his nerves.
Sedna has threatened his life on several occassions and holds a lot of blackmail material over him. Ginger attempts to placate her at every turn and wants nothing more than to rekindle their childhood friendship.
Although Fabu is one of the strongest fighters living in Werlock, Ginger thinks he needs to be tempered to be truly effective. Fabu takes advantage of Ginger's kindness by making him do chores or act like a servant.
Auburn is one of the few animals aware of Ginger's past. They find it easy to relate because of their shared social anxiety and easily communicate. Auburn's unpredictable behaviour doesn't alienate him and Auburn makes him lovely tea to help him feel better.
