A carefree and capricious friend to everybody, although not everybody wants to be friends with Fabu. He's dedicated and focused when passionate about somtehing, but otherwise lazy. Fabu is loyal to a fault, undisciplined, and adventurous, always looking for a new challenge whether he's ready to face it or not. He has a tendency t oget in over his head, however refuses help at every turn and guards his privacy. Fabu doesn't like to talk about his personal life, and tries to leave his trauma where it belongs: far in the past. Fabu is extremely overconfident, though most of it is an act that hides his crippling insecurit.
Fabu possesses an engaging personality, projecting an image of confidence. However, he is extremely insensitive and lacks social nuances. He holds grudges and is excessively violent. Fabu is not overly intelligent or perceptive of himself. He experiences strong emotions, however he's not always able to name them or know how to properly deal with them. Fabu has the occasional mean-streak and pulls bad pranks. Despite being an extrovert, others are like aliens to him. He has difficult empathizing with others, attributing to his difficulty making deep, meaningful friendships. At his best, Fabu is sensible, composed, and unyielding.

Fabu hails from the Clen clan, which resides in the far western side of the continent. Fabu had an unpleasant and chaotic childhood filled with physical and verbal abuse from his parents. He usually chose to roam the streets of his hometown, raising hell with his 'pack' of street rats.
As he grew older, Fabu started doing mercenary work for protection and comradeship, however, he was never fully accepted by any of them. He gained a notorious reputation for public intoxication, random acts of assault, and being involved in illegal activities, at one point being a prominent player in an underground fight ring.
At some point, Fabu experienced a primordial shift, a condition in which a sentient animal reverts back to their wild state. His sanity slipped and he ran rampanent in the woods for a while before he stumbled on the village of Werlock. Primordial shifts are things that animals typically don't come back from, but Fabu's was halted in its tracks when he met Siddhartha, who has helped him maintain his sentience ever since. His neighbours don't know the full extent of Fabu's abusive childhood except for Siddhartha, and Fabu talks himself up by portraying himself as a great warrior from the west, eager not to discuss the mental breakdown that led to his shift.

Fabu has a strong relationship with Tora, although he gets frustrated with her righteousness. She's never judged him for his violent tendencies. Tora initially didn't like his friendship with Siddhartha, but she's since softened on him. That said, they do butt heads on and off because they're both so stubborn.
Fabu is physically attracted to Sedna. He is also deeply understands her motivations. Sedna is unafraid of standing up to him, which he respects, and they have similar methods for dealing with their enemies: excessive violence. They enjoy bantering together, and he helps Sedna to loosen up a lot, while she acts as his much-needed support system.
Siddhartha is Fabu's best friend and partner-in-crime. When not tailing after Tora, Siddhartha instinctively gravitates to Fabu, who he thinks is cool and interesting. Siddhartha is the only one aware of Fabu's unhappy childhood, and helps act as his moral compass, while Fabu is quick to defend him.
Fabu thinks Auburn is weak and needs protecting. He has the tendency to helicopter over him to make sure he's still alive and remembers to eat. Since neither of them sleep a lot, they tend to hang out together at night.
Fabu isn't sure what to make of Ginger, though he trusts Siddhartha's instincts that Ginger is just a normal guy who's fallen on hard times. What it boils down to is that Fabu thinks Ginger is a big wimp, and as such he's the target of most of his pranks.
