Viktor Kovac

Viktor firmly encapsulates Isador's stereotype of what a werewolf looks like. He is a tall man with an angular face with sharp features, and a somewhat messy appearance. Being a witch hunter, Viktor can spend weeks on end away from any sign of civilization. Viktor rightfully looks like a man that spends most of his time outdoors. He has a deep tan from the sun. Viktor has more or less given up on keeping up the small details of his appearance as constantly trying to stay neat really isn’t worth the effort. He usually doesn't bother wearing a shirt collar or waistcoat unless going into town. Viktor likes black frock coats even though they are out of fashion and has been told that it "makes him look like an old man". His clothes show visible signs of wear and tear, but getting thrown around by monsters does have a tendency to be rather rough on clothes.

He has an angular face, and a long nose with a noticeable bump to it. The bump didn't used to be so severe, but he's broken several times. His hooded eyes turn up at the outer corner. They are orange-gold eye colour. As well, he has deep lines in the inner corner of his eyes. Viktor looks older than most werewolves of a similar age which he blames this mostly on the stress of his job. His brown hair is streaked with grey hairs, and has started to go completely white at the temples. Viktor brushes his hair back, and crops it short whenever it starts to get too long. Normally, he has a beard and mustache, and follows a similar method of trimming it.

To Viktor, all he has ever done is make a mess of things and pull others into his problems. He has always felt like he has to be the one to take physical risks and put himself into dangerous situations. But, all that bravery has only landed him with a job he can’t leave. Viktor knows he has the raw skills to be a witch hunter, but he can’t stomach the requirements. Being a witch hunter is a brutally lonely existence. Unfortunately for himself and everyone else around him, Viktor has always gotten lonely easily.

Bending the rules is dangerous, but he feels like he has too many loose ends in his life that he can’t just leave. He’s spent his entire life running and now feels like he has to see things through to the end. Now is the time to make things right. That being said, he doesn’t have the guts to make the difficult choices he needs to make. Viktor still finds himself avoiding hard conversations, putting off decisions in hopes the situation will resolve itself or he will be forced to pick. He’s been pushed his entire life to be a level of perfection that isn't achievable. He can’t just accept that there are times that it is impossible to make everything right.

• Born less than a year apart from his brother Dalibor. The two aren't sure of their exact day of birth as their parents celebrated their birthdays together. The two can't find any records stating eithers' exact birthday so they still split the day.
• He is 1/4 werewolf, 1/2 alp, and a bunch of meaningless fractions of other things (honestly more like 3/8ths werewolf). He is just noticably a werewolf and so he is marked on records as such
