ANATHEMA is a freeform writing/art rp game for hoofed characters (equine, cervine, porcine, bovine, and camelid) that rewards hard character choices and puts an emphasis on collaborative, member-driven narrative.
Anathema tells the story of a kingdom protected by monster-slaying mages, and the beasts of wild magic that threaten it. Mages are the strongest weapon against abominations, but are in constant danger of being corrupted into monsters themselves; the stronger a mage is, the closer they are to a terrible transformation, and to being the quarry of the next hunt. Your character's choices determine their fate, potentially steering them toward a monstrous destiny.
