Profile
Sameri Ennar
Rebellion leader
Draconic - Fluent
Mavo - Intermediate
Sameri is one of the most ambitious soldiers the Kestane Guild has ever known. With a dozen of revolutions, rebellions, and successful defeats of significant Guild enemies, his name can be abundantly found in its history books. Favouring abroad missions where he leads a group of people to victory, Sameri is quite the strategist, having even led to the downfall of a Guild immitator named Astra that counted over a thousand members with a mere fifty man team.
It came as a surprise to many when he chose to reduce his mission team to a mere three man operation. Over a few years, he had grown fond of a former Astra member named Desi and a girl that was partially under Desi's care named Magali, and he felt that a more undercover and more selective path was his next calling. The three worked to eliminate several important enemies of the Guild, and after a split of a few years, they are back together.
The shift from a large group to a small one led him to bond strongly with the two, to the point where his loyalty to them may be even stronger than his loyalty to the Guild. He may be looking for more, but his job and his promise to the Guild keep him too busy to even think the life goal over. He'll find his way eventually, when evil is conquered and his people are free.
- Art status: can be drawn!
- Sameri is a Guild member with a heart of passion; his life goal is to take down all Guild imitators that spawned over the years and any target who may endanger the Guild
- He's not afraid of killing; if you're in his way to his goal, he's going to cut you down
- In the past he led several successful operations to collapse some powerful Guild imitators in the Mainlands
- Currently he favours smaller parties of close friends to carry out his missions
- He's exactly five foot tall and absolutely not a force to be meddled with
- No water can ever douse the fires of vengeance and retribution that burn in his heart
- While that may make him sound cold, he simply isn't very good at dealing with close emotions. He's still a good, friendly man around those he loves
Sameri is a small and stocky easterner adult, standing 151cm or 5' tall and weighing 57kg or 127lbs. He's a small man for his age, especially when accentuated by his muscle volume concentrated around the chest, arms, and legs. He has light orange skin which is well taken care of, and has a lot of body hair especially concentrated on the arms, legs, lower belly, and face. He lets it grow as it wants to. He was born with a tail but it was cut off as he finished his Guild training and became a full member.
His face is fairly masculine, displaying a thick chin with a strong jawline, strong brows with unkept eyebrows, visible cheekbones, a small bumpy nose with a thin bridge and tip, and a ginger beard running across his entire jaw and upper lip. He's got mildly hooded dark eyes, a medium brown in colour, with eye bags adorning the lower lids. His pointed ears are of medium length and he usually carries a solemn, more strict expression on his face.
He has well cleaned ginger to brown hair that reaches beneath the shoulders when pulled flat, but due to its wavy texture only reaches above the shoulders. He wears the back of his hair loose and combed to the back. The hair above his temples is braided, two braids on each side. These braids have a pretty big volume and are draped over his shoulders to lie on the chest. They reach to right above the pecs.
Sameri's clothing is designed for his work; when he doesn't need to be formal, he's ready for combat instead. His baseline includes a black button up chest with a folded collar. The sleeves are about always rolled up to his elbows, even when in his combat outfit. His purple trousers are held up by a leather belt with a grey metal buckle. His half shin length brown leather boots are always worn above the trousers and are closed by the use of thick shoelaces. A step up from this outfit is the addition of a brown leather vest with darker stripes running over it as well as pale brown gloves that reach up to just above the wrists.
Sameri's clothes are very layered, but he most often wears the less busy version without the hip pieces, the neck collar, and the cloak. It's notable how he usually shows some extent of skin by pushing back his sleeves and leaves the top buttons of his shirt and chestpiece open. It's a preference that can be found in most of his outfits.
Desi Lamarck ✦ Colleague, best friend
Desi was Sameri's first good friend outside of the Guild. The two met when Sameri was working on Astra's downfall at a time where Desi was working for said organisation. Sameri managed to convince him to follow the Guild's ways instead and successfully recruited the man into his own organisation. Desi's pivotal position into Astra infiltration led to a lot of interaction between the two, and led to a bond stronger than any Sameri had known before.
The two have a great way of working together, even if Desi is no combatant at heart and had to be taught a lot from scratch to not risk dying every day. Sameri has felt something more for Desi at several times, but has been too busy and too anxious to succumb to his feelings.
Magali Arana ✦ Colleague, best friend, as good as a daughter
Sameri got to know Magali thanks to Desi a few years after the two befriended each other, and from the start he admired the girl's passion so much than he offered to train her in combat and diplomacy, a deal the girl gladly accepted. He is responsible for a large part of her fighting prowess, and once travelling became a part of their missions he took on a bit of a fatherly role for her together with Desi.
He's a bit on the protective side with her, but not overly so. He lets her be independent, but prefers to safeguard her from the dangerous parts of their job, opting to carry them out himself instead. Still, he recognises her independence and tries to let her do her thing. She changed his mind on his future in favour of maybe wanting children after all.
