Parents are shit

It's the same every day, always fucking comparing me to my siblings. No matter how hard I try it's never fucking enough. They've never ONCE told me that I did something well. All they care about is my grandparents fucking money and that they don't want their idiotic posh friends to see what a 'loser nerd' their son is. Just because I'm not a preppy prick like my brother?? Fuck that. I've TRIED acting like them, but I always make a fool of myself. It's not like me. My friends only like me because my family is loaded anyways.

I have nobody.

The Internet is better than people

Online nobody gives a fuck what you can do. They accept you like you are because they don't have any stupid expectations from you. The internet is a much better home for me than this stupid mansion which is almost always empty anyways. Online I finally found a community of people who are like me. They've showed me a lot of cool things I actually like, and I have to say that I'm really into this whole Heavy Metal sound. My parents would probably die if they found out what I listen to, LMAO. Well, it's not like they care about me as long as I shop up to their stupid soirées so that they can show off the family disappointment next to my perfect siblings.

Living with my grandparents since last week. They said I could move in with them now that uni is starting.

I'm already noticing how different I feel here. I'm still getting used to it I guess, and especially my grandma is a bit... peculiar. She thinks it's totally okay to walk around without clothes I guess?? I'll never be able to banish that image from my mind.....

University seems exciting though. I'm gonna be studying Computer Science, and my grandparents are actually really supportive. I kinda thought they'd be way more old fashioned with how much my parents are bending over backwards to not be written out of the inheritance, but even though their house is even bigger than my parents I never actually feel like I'm alone here. They're genuinely interested in what I do and actually praise me for being me. I even started working out, and now I feel much better about myself. It feels strange, but... good? They didn't even mind when I came out to them as bisexual, even though my parents pitched a GIANT fit when they heard about it. My birthday is coming up, and my grandma got us tickets to go to my favourite band. I have no idea how a 68 year old woman is gonna fare at a Heavy Metal concert but we'll see. LMAO.

I totally forgot this even existed.

It's been a LONG time since my last post here. Years actually. I don't even know why I'm writing an update, it's not like anybody other than me will ever be able to read this anyways. I've long graduated university and moved out from my grandparents place, though that was a whole new kind of drama. Not because my of my grandparents or anything, but because my parents couldn't deal when they announced that I'd be getting a bigger portion of the inheritance than them and my siblings. They never showed up to visit my grandparents anyways unless my parents forced them.

But I don't want to waste any words on people that just make me feel bad. I work for the resistance now. Mostly because I want to stop people like my parents from getting any more power than they already have, and the guy that's running the colony now is exactly like them. It's really exciting to be honest, and I don't really go on that many dangerous missions because I mostly just stay at the base doing the hacking and computer work. Raymond is nice, but sometimes kinda strange. I guess that's to be expected with an A.I. though.

I still listen to Heavy Metal, probably even more now than back then. I still work out too, and I look like it. I'm actually quite happy with who I am now. Fuck my parents. Fuck Ilja. I'm glad I'm able to be part of something bigger now.
