Koba has a way of adapting and melding into different situations. Koba is incredibly observant he knows his way around people as well as any respectable man of his stature should. Because of this, many people find him captivating . As if he was a god they cannot compare to. Despite being so popular amongst his peers, Koba is faithful to his parents, making incisive decisions to follow in the path they have laid out for him.

Koba is ambitious and determined to prove himself capable. His obedience and charm granting him the ability to be successful. With his line of study, Koba is reasonably political . His work has also turned him into a bit of a skeptic , he can't be an ambassador who is easily fooled.

Koba acts in an extremely flamboyant way, and thanks to his charm the people around him overlook it. They also overlook the abrasive side of Koba when he is angry, while not easily pushed down that emotion, Koba can be harsh at times. Because of this, he is cautious with the words he chooses to speak. Call him selfish , Koba prefers to preserve his name in reputation. Koba sometimes acts to induldge himself, as a sort of escape from his day to day life.

✦ EARLY LIFE ✦

In the humble Port City of Ethovalan, Kobayashi was born to very wealthy parents. He was raised with a silver spoon and a golden platter. Though he didn't know it as a child, but his future had already been plotted out for him, and being an obedient child, he would follow it to a perfect T. Koba was not one to ever disapoint his parents. He did well in school and had a healthy, copious amount of popularity. Koba had a natural skill in being likeable. He knew exactly what he had to do to be successful. While Koba enjoyed being the center of attention, he never truly let it get to his head. He genuinely wanted to please people. Becuase of this, Koba was called the perfect child amongst social circles. Everyone had high hopes for his future, and Koba himself started to believe it. Needless to say, he was an unstoppable force down a path with no resistance.

✦ EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN ✦

As Koba grew older, he grew to be even more successful. Since he enjoyed talking and sorting through political discrepancies, Koba studied diplomacy to become an ambassador. It was in the prestigious of law where he met a boistorous young Purrloin named Izanagi. With their easy going personalities, the two quickly became friends and made it a mission to finish their schooling strong. Both of them had big plans for the future, building a good resume was on the top of their list. While Iza was seeking criminal justice, Koba figured he could use his diplomatic skills to help him along the journey. As soon as they graduated, the two opened up a small private eye company in Onekama, Spiral Archipelago. After a while, they decided to travel to various islands to seek work. During one of these trips, the meet Tsuki, a young Nickit, in Treasure Town, Grass Continent. While the three young men talked, they somehow conviced the solemn eyed nickit to join them in their journey back to Onekama.

✦ PRESENT DAY ✦

They're arrival at Onekama was met with a great welcome. The group met a Sableye named Kurai and initiated him into their little circle. When life was getting a bit dull, Kurai left become a Bounty Hunter in a team called Shining Justice. They were under a guild called GCSF, a guild Koba had heard mentions of in the islands he's visited. Soon after Kurai joined, Iza joined shortly after; leaving Koba alone to take care of their little company. Without his partners in crime, he also decided to join the misfit team of Bounty Hunters. He figured his work and Bounty Hunting could go hand in hand just as it had with Iza. At the latest chance, Koba joined Shining Justice and traveled to Kala island to become an official member.

After long and laborous months of working in the team, Koba had grown increasingly close to team leader Zaki. While never in an official postion, Koba had helped the team through some kinks and knots. He thought nothing of doing such acts, as he was a part of the team afterall, however these qualities would shape him into the next team leader. Shiloh, while loving the work they did with the team, felt they were due for a change. They decided to step away from guild work and live life quietly with Zaki. The latter of which picked up the pieces by appointing Koba as the team's new leader. Now completely free to do as he wished with the team, Koba roped his old good friend Iza as his co-lead.

With the big change that occured, the two decided to rebrand and start with a fresh slate. Their rename to team Ephemeral sought to signify their journey into the horizons and a fleeting yet impactful Bounty Hunting team.
