Ammon was born to two merchants in Sahra Town, Sand Continent. As the only son, his parents could confidently say he was their pride and joy. The family was well off, living a comfortable life, however Ammon's parents instilled a strict routine for Ammon. They valued teaching the lesson of earning their place for their comfort. This was mostly to help motivate and prepare him for a world outside of the safety of their home. Though Ammon wasn't motivated by rewards, he still grew to be diligent in his schoolwork and chores, deeming it as something necessary he has to do, reward or no reward. He would go out of his way to help his parents. His parents lived busy lives. They owned an antique shop. The shop was filled with items they extracted from dungeons and areas with their expedition team. Ammon was not allowed to go with them when he was younger. Though he would always express his interest in going with them. Because of this, his parents would always say Ammon would inherit the business when they retire. As years went on, the little shop flourished with Ammon's help in the dig sites.

Being the son of wealthy merchants and excelling in school, Ammon quickly became the center of his school's attention. Everywhere he walked, he turned heads. The tall and elegant Houndour natturally drew in a crowd. He had an agreeable disposition that was pleasant to be around. While Ammon didn't care much for mingling and small talk, he would indulge them. His popularity did not push him to cultivate personal relationships, instead, he gravitated towards what he did best. Anyone could see that the young Houndour had a sense of adventure, he was most lively when out in the dig sites and studying the findings.

✦ EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN ✦

As he grew older, it was apparent that Ammon would take over the family business. Though with Ammon's lack of friends and interest in dating, his parents worried the young man would be alone forever. They brought up the prospect of marriage to Ammon, and their plans to marry him off to a wealthy socialite mistress. At first Ammon was disapproving, but he quickly realized this would be the last request his parents made. While his parents hid it well, he knew their failing health did not give them much time left to live. Ammon dutifully agreed and wedded the socialite. Though the marriage was loveless, the woman proved herself to be an excellent business partner. With her social skills and Ammon's findings, the shop gained even more traction. By the time Ammon was 24, knew he wanted one thing out of life, to help his parents. He searched for renowned doctors to help rememdy his parent's sickness. However, even while wealth was at his disposal, Ammon's luck ran out. There was no doctor out there to help slow the painful end to his parent's death. Ammon knew their passing was coming, yet it did not stop the agony that followed.

Through his grief, Ammon and his wife grew closer emotionally. While she was a great friend to begin with, Ammon started to lean into her for support. They both agreed to start a family. The two welcomed a beautiful baby girl. At first things were going well... but Ammon's luck began to run out yet again. His daughter began to show signs of a chronic illness. Slowly she grew weaker and weaker and doctors have prescribed her a permanent home in her bed. The young girl was no older than 13 years old when the sickness over took her. Stricken with grief yet again, Ammon refused to console with his wife. He began to resent her and distanced himself from her. The feelings were mutual. Ammon's wife tragicly fell ill from the hatred and grief in her heart. She refused to eat or drink. She did not utter a single word to Ammon. By the time Ammon realized her fate, it was too late to remedy his relationship. Even still, Ammon did not leave her side. She passed away quietly in her sleep.

✦ PRESENT DAY ✦

It is now one year later. After the deaths in his family, Ammon resigned to continue his work. Perhaps as a way to cope with all the loss, he busied himself and left no room to think of his grief. He adopted a nonchalant outlook on life, reverting back to being reclusive, rarely making connections with people. It was by chance during a routine dungeon run he came across a team of Bounty Hunters. They called themselves Shining Justice. Amongst them there was a Toucannon who curiously approached the Houndour. After some brief exchange of words, Ammon was invited to join the team. While Ammon was hesitant at first, he felt a tug to take the leap. He had been stagnant all his life. Now would be the perfect time to step away. Perhaps he is using this as another excuse.

Quickly, the Hounder closed his shop indefinitely and boarded the ship with Shining Justice. They traveled to Kala Island to register into Shining Justice.

Shining Justice has gone through many changes in the duration Ammon has been a member, the team is now rebranded to Ephemeral.

Shining Justice is now named Ephemeral

Ammon likes to sculpt by hand a lot! He uses clay to make pottery and sculpt figures, but these items end up in the trash or storage
He is great at cooking. Others may think he puts too much spice in it, but his daughter loved his food
Tends to read books when he is stressed or tired, with a cup of tea by his side of course
He is very old schooled. He likes doing things a certain way, only adapting to certain things with his own pace. That doesn't mean he isn't open to change though, he is just a creature of habit
He is usually solitary, but he is not a stranger to working with others. He will always stick to business and get things done over doing recreational activiities
