Genten is one of the four mystgons responsible for creating Personalia along with Century, Alba, and Hassof. He traveled the cosmos for ages to create worlds with the myst dwelling within him. Genten was the de facto leader of his brethren and led the unified project to create the ultimate magnum opus of mystgon magic, Personalia. This planet would be the biggest that any of them had ever constructed and it was to be a land where multiple intelligent beings could prosper together, not a sole dominant species. Genten was in a way the planet’s editor along with Hassof. With his myst he was able to rewind mistakes without starting over from scratch like Hassof’s myst would. He could also put certain sections of the planet on pause, or forward the progression of naturally developing fauna and flora so that the entire planet would be moving along in a unified manner. He was also in charge of preventing world ending disasters. By enveloping his head in his own myst he could see through time. Through his visions Genten was able to foresee any disaster to come to destroy Personalia and took precautions to prevent the fate from coming to pass. This responsibility left a toll on Genten’s body. Myst may flow throughout the universe, but those who wield it must use their own. Mystgons are gods of incredible yet finite power and using up all the myst means the death of a mystgon. Genten knew this, he’d seen his death too many times to count and had accepted it. He felt the least he could do as his final gift to Personalia would be to leave the world without regret or worry of what was to come. Everything that has happened and will happen has already been calculated by Genten, the process will be grueling, even miserable sometimes, but this path is how Personalia stays alive. Before he left this universe he left three gifts. The first were two guardians made from two of his eyes. One would be a guardian of time, while the other would be a guardian of knowledge. Second was a prediction. He gave Century a heavily detailed prediction ensuring she committed it to memory about what her role with preserving Personalia would be. He made very clear any change no matter how minor could drastically change the course of Personalia’s fate. His last gift was a forest in Cerebral Island known as the Forest of Illusion. This seemingly simple forest would go on to become a sacred ground. It is full of Gentenian myst and remains in stasis. All that enters the forest can live there for lifetimes while only a little time passes outside. The forest itself has no physical dangers, but can break the wills of the weak with its visions of past and future. These illusions manifest based on a person’s fate. The purpose of this forest was to protect Century. Genten wanted to make sure she could stand by waiting for her moment to act away from prying eyes. Gods shouldn’t directly involve themselves in mortals’ lives or disasters are sure to happen..
