DESCRIPTION

Bota is an elemental like Fionn. He is the child to Woodstock and Venenum who are elementals of plant/flora and poison respectfully. Bota was born in an unorthodox manner similar to that of a test tube baby. His body was in fact crafted by his parents and given life by them channeling both of their own myst into the husk. Bota awoke and for the most part functioned like a regular child would. Bota's body is brittle and hard with parts of it being composed of mushroom stipe, tree bark, thorns, and vines. The problem that comes with this is that Bota is missing a few key senses of an organic body. He cannot taste, smell, or feel anything he touches due to his strange body. The lack of such sensations leaves him a bit detached to some scenarios. Bota has the ability to help plants grow as long as suitable conditions are met, and he can also expel dangerous toxins from his mouth like a spray can. He also is able to use vine tendrils from his waist and cough up seeds, spores, and nuts to grow a variety of things. ust like Fionn he was educated with the purpose of elementals when he was only a few years old. The purpose in question is to simply prevent ecological disaster. Elementals tend to have a sixth sense for this kind of thing. They will usually only sense a disaster that affects their attributed element. What Bota was able to sense was an ongoing war on a strange island he would find out was the fabled land of Legythos. At the time no one knew how to find Legythos, let alone did they know if it was even real. Taking his cloak and mushroom hat he set off to find emotibeasts to escort him to the fabled land. Many emotibeasts disregarded this as a fool's errand except for one group, The Odyssey led by Ed Leifson. The team had already encountered Legythos emotibeasts and were going to attempt to return one of them named Runica back to her home and family. Bota was able to intercept the party and request that he come along on their trip. At first the team was hesistant, but it ended up being Eon that vouched for Bota since he had been told stories of elementals before from his grandfather. Runica was able to support Bota's recruitment as well when she confirmed Bota's claims about the dangerous war ongoing on the island. Legythos had long been at war with countless battles going on between two factions, but lately the battles had been growing more and more intense. With each new battle the land was left ravaged unable to grow any vegetation, leaving these areas wastelands. Before they set out on their journey Bota was able to accompany Eon for a short time to gather supplies for the trip. Bota as you'd expect wasn't exactly the best at social interaction, still he tried his best. The two of them ended up in Runner's field to buy several crops. They ended up being ambushed by thugs and during the event Bota ended up with a knife through his arm. The elemental didn't seem to react to it and proceeded to take care of the thugs for Eon. It was then that Eon learned of Bota's incapacity to feel things, nevertheless Eon fretted over Bota and tried to patch up his wound despite Bota telling him to not worry about it. Eon insisted that Bota should still try to handle his body more carefully, even if he doesn't mind getting hurt, others would, like Eon. Bota was perplexed by this, but decided to give thanks to Eon anyways, in return he gifted Eon a sunflower, his favorite type of flower. Afterwards the two were able to board their ship with the rest of the team and set off on their adventure. Over the course of the journey Eon and Bota bonded closely. Eon became Bota's favorite person. Even though Bota still had primary elemental instincts, if he was going to protect islands he wanted to do it with Eon by his side.
