DESCRIPTION

Century is the mystgon of power, as well as the only mystgon to remain in Personalia after the departure of the others. Like her brethren before her Century wanted to create a true spectacle of the universe that would be her legacy to live on in her stead long after her death. Century loved Personalia with all her heart, as well as every creature that dwelled within it. Century decided to create the first guardian to watch over Personalia’s creatures both big and small. This creature was known as the Glory Seeker, and it was made in Century’s image. It was the size of one of Personalia’s many islands and was even capable of using her own signature “Centurian Myst”. However, the Glory Seeker ended up becoming too ambitious and started seeking more power for itself. To Century’s horror it began to eat both elementals and emotibeasts to absorb their myst. The more myst it consumed the stronger it became until it was almost on the same level as the other mystgons. Century felt that all the deaths were on her hands and was mortified by this. She was scolded by Suf for her “abomination” and her mystgon brother intended to destroy the beast right then and there. the Glory Seeker scarred Suf’s face with a blast of centurian myst which set gears in motion one of the most devastating events the planet would come to see. As Suf left for the stars, he vowed Century’s creation would meet a vile death and left for the stars. Century confronted the Glory Seeker and tried to reason with him. This was not why she made him, he was meant to be a guardian to protect, however it was clear his mind would not change and realizing this brought Century to tears. She had finally figured out that she could not fix this. She left her creation and a few days later Suf created Destroyer, a giant golden snake capable of producing suffic myst just like him. The two titans clashed for ages and their battle ravaged the land like a battlefield in war. Several islands were wrecked and destroyed in the process and the early emotibeasts living on them lost to time. One day the battle finally concluded and it seemed that Destroyer had come out on top. However, the devastation was not over. Destroyer did not stop, and its myst coated the planet, killing everything enveloped by it. Century and Alba urged Suf to stop his creation, but he reasoned it was better to start from scratch. Needless to say Suf was banished from the band of mystgons and sent away while they tried to find a way to stop his creation from ruining the planet any further. After everything that had happened, Century still felt solely responsible for what happened. She had set the gears in motion that caused all this death. It broke her heart and crushed her spirit.. She went to Genten for counsel. Genten used his powers to take a look into the future and tell Century what the future would bring. There was but one path to ensure Personalia’s fullest life, though Genten confessed it would not come without sacrifice. There would be deaths, it was unavoidable, but in the end the future generations of Personalia would inherit the planet for themselves, and no longer even need the gods’ involvements. This was a future Century found solace in and it was one she felt she had enough resolve to achieve. Genten informed Century of everything she would need to know, and boiled it down to key events that would determine Personalia’s future: The sealing of Destroyer, the arrival of the sunblazer, the birth of the virtues, and the death of the innocent. These events were as far as Genten could see into the future without using up the vital myst he still needed to carry out his preparations for what was to come. Though he could not confirm it, he guessed they would all lead to Century’s own death as well and each one had to play out perfectly as Genten had planned or else Personalia’s fate could be in peril. No one else was to know of this plan. Not Suf nor Alba. Century vowed to follow Genten’s instructions, determined to make up for her crucial mistake. The first event had come to pass. Destroyer was now being sealed by Alba who used the last of her myst to achieve this. Now it was just down to Century and Genten. With the last of his myst Genten had created a special forest for Century to reside in known as The Forest of Illusion. This sacred forest would keep Century hidden away from the mortals except for those she was destined to meet. Genten stressed she was to remain in there no matter what until the last event had come to pass. With the last of his myst used, Genten simply started to fade into basic myst leaving Century alone. She spent the next 58 million years waiting inside the forest. The forest was in a permanent stasis that caused time to come to a crawl within the forest which made Century’s wait feel even longer. The isolation was getting to her and she could feel it consuming her. She eventually created 3 new guardians on a much smaller scale compared to the Glory Seeker. Ophanis, Cherunis, and Seraphis were guardians she made to represent the power classes of the emotibeasts: Bio, Morph, and Magic. These three guardians were her eyes and ears to the outside world. While they were powerful, Century mainly used them to hear stories about the events of Personalia. She couldn’t help but be in awe of everything emotibeasts had done without involvement from the gods. While the stories were fun, things really became interesting the day Century met Rage Solaria. On this day, Century was reminded of her mission, but at the same time, she found a fascination with Rage. He was full of untapped potential and she soon became a mentor and source of counsel for the sunblazer.

Trivia

  • Centurian myst is the most energized of the mystgons’ breaths. It is raw energy that can promote a subject’s own power and abilities to advanced levels that could be described as something like achieving a newly evolved state. However, this myst is incredibly lethal even in small doses so Century uses it sparingly always. Too much centurian myst can cause an emotibeast to literally overload and fall apart like a pile of flesh boiling in a tight suit. Concentrated blasts of this myst have been called “The Wrath of God” with how incredibly destructive it can be on someone’s body. Century mainly only uses this myst now to either heal fatal injuries, including death, or to train an emotibeast to their full potential.
  • Her spear in her humanoid form is actually her tail bone. She can throw it as far as to the moon and call it back to her like a boomerang at will.
  • Her myst has allowed her body to remain in peak physical condition no matter how much she ages.
  • There is nothing under her skull, only a black void.
