Vi knows little to nothing of her past.She was born on Legythos near the nests of the Glibgoyle species. She was an outcast to the other emotibeasts living in Liar Heights and was often avoided with prejudice. Lucky for her there happened to be another outcast among the glibgoyles named Morgan. While Morgan was part Glibgoyle, they definitely seemed to be something else as well that was just as a mystery as Vi's heritage. They were able to find friendship in each other and Morgan treated Vi as their closest friend. Morgan helped teach Vi the basics on life, even teaching her how to fly with her strange wings. However, despite Morgan's kindness there was a lingering sadness in Vi that only worsened over time. Vi desperately wanted to know what she actually was, where she came from, and who her parents were. Many nights Vi would have the same dream: A large wolf running from a strange ooze and offering her up to a strange one eyed beast. She only had this dream during thunderstorms and could never figure out what it meant, until she met two kids trying to become royal guards named Qanik and Aput. Aput was able to show Vi depictions of a guardian named Asena, a wolf creature that shared an uncanny resemblance to the wolf in her dreams. Vi started to wonder if she had some relation to this guardian, and if so was she a guardian as well? She felt almost certain of it and to prove it she built up the resolve to finally leave Legythos with the aid of her friends. Along she met many new hybrids from the benevolent Miyama, the intimidating Galvan, and even the charming yet mysterious Stella. All these encounters shaped Vi, though unfortunately, the sadness in her heart simply couldn't just vanish. Vi continues to struggle to truly be happy, even as things on her journey began to tur for the worst, a small sliver of her spirit held on to a hope of having a joyous life, even if that day may never come for her.
