Morpho's Links
Morpho owes his life to the king! If it weren't for Balthazar he wouldn't exist, after all. He works under the king, serving as a retainer for his future heirs.
Bal was pleased when his magic had worked, but he wasn't entirely satisfied. Surely there would be a side effect, so he kept Morpho close. He's not quite sure if the man is capable of being a retainer, but he admits Morpho is dedicated.
Morpho looks up to Mr. Shrimp and admires him, constantly begging for lessons. The decopod always dismisses him, saying he's too busy. Well! Maybe if Morpho cooks up a great dish then Mr. Shrimp will be so impressed that he'll take him as an apprentice!
Mr. Shrimp oftentimes finds Morpho meddling in the kitchen, trying to make dishes of his own. The chef finds it somewhat endearing, but mostly sad. Those things the retainer makes are far from edible, but if he were to say something then the kid would stay in the kitchen for hours crying into the food!
Heinrich is terrifying to work for. If Morpho stands still for even a second he'll find himself being screeched at. It takes everything in his power not to burst into tears in front of him.
Morpho is quiet and reserved, but so easily gets distracted that Heinrich oftentimes has to snap him out of it. If he plans to be a suitable knight for His Highness then he will have to stop crying at his own shadow!
Being a retainer for a king is very stressful, especially when Heinrich's breathing fire at you. But Amelie's great! She's always sticking up for Morpho when Heinrich's on his rampage, and she's really sweet! He hopes someday to make her a delicious treat as thanks for all her help!
Amelie enjoys working with Morpho, she really does, but...how on god's green earth does he manage to cook something absolutely TOXIC looking every time he so much as touches a pan?!
It was extremely nerve-wracking for Morpho when he first met the prince of Litari (or Italy, for non-magical species). Allegretto was always nice and helpful, sometimes... a little TOO so. Morpho can't help but be flustered anytime the prince passes by.
Whenever Allegro would visit the kingdom of Anthea-- or its democratic counterpart, Germany-- he would sometimes see the nervous knight, Morpho. How interesting he was, to be in such a stoic job yet have a fleeting heartbeat. Imagine the prince's surprise when he learned he was also a butterfly! He's definitely had some fun with the knight, but nothing more has come from it.
