Heinrich's Links
After nearly walking in on a... personal situation, Heinrich learned of the king's feelings towards him. He never made it known, always keeping his distance. It was because of Earle's constricting feelings that anyone Heinrich had taken an interest in over the decades had been met with a mysterious disappearance. It was when Earle's schemes were put out in the open that Heinrich finally took action, kissing the king in order to erase his powers and save Balthazar. He's grateful to be human again thanks to Balthazar, but can only fear that Earle is waiting in the shadows to take him.
After talking to a fortune teller, Earle learned of his True Love being none other than a loathsome frog. It was almost laughable. Earle had the idea of turning the creature into a human and having his supposed True Love serve him as a butler, and for a time it worked flawlessly. However, the longer time passed the more Earle actually began to fall in love. He never pursued it, wanting to keep his powers. But now that he's no longer affected by his curse, he will do everything he can to win the butler over.
Heinrich took care of the king even when he was a mere baby. He's developed a strong bond with him and wants to make sure he's okay with anything. However, the only thing Heinrich will ever protest about the king is his True Love. He'd much rather Balthazar walk down Earle's path than allow someone so conceited as Revere take the throne.
Balthazar doesn't talk to Heinrich very often, but there is definitely a strong bond between the two. He values the butler's opinions and treats him as a close friend. He finds his explosions at the staff more amusing than anything.
[Rivals] Clayton is a terrible butler that takes poor care of his castle, and it shows. Heinrich prides himself in how great his own castle is, and makes sure to chide the other butler over his terrible work.
[Rivals] Although Clayton is often quiet and stoic, he can't help but be filled with anger whenever he sees the bastard butler. Heinrich boasts about his castle, but there are far too many mistakes he's ignoring, and Clayton makes sure to tell him any chance he gets.
Dudley is perhaps the dumbest butler Heinrich has ever met. Although he can't expect much from a crab.
Heinrich is always so nice, telling Dudley to do absolutely nothing! People say he's really mean, but Dudley knows deep down that he's doing his best!
Hugh is disgusting. He's far too hairy and sweaty, and he SHEDS! The halfwit doesn't clean up after himself. If you had told Heinrich that Hugh was really a pig, he wouldn't question it!
While Hugh won't deny that Heinrich is an extremely capable man, it is quite grinding the obvious disdain he holds for others, including himself. He doesn't take it to heart, as they both just have the King's best interests in mind.
Morpho is quiet and reserved, but so easily gets distracted that Heinrich oftentimes has to snap him out of it. If he plans to be a suitable knight for His Highness then he will have to stop crying at his own shadow!
Heinrich is terrifying to work for. If Morpho stands still for even a second he'll find himself being screeched at. It takes everything in his power not to burst into tears in front of him.
She does a mediocre job, nothing stunning but nothing horrible. What's REALLY horrible is that attitude of hers! Honestly, the audacity to call HIM an asshole?! True peasantry!
Truly the epitome of the entitled ass that just gets under her skin. She does her job exactly like she's supposed to, and he STILL always finds something wrong with it. She has no problem calling him an asshole to his snooty little face.
Hopper is certainly not as confident and wise as King Balthazar, and his upbringing has, unfortunately, been marred by the loathsome Revere, yet Heinrich still supports and respects him. He's royal, after all, and has been born with the qualities of a leader. And at least Hopper's more willing to listen to Heinrich's found logic than his parents.
Heinrich is a great butler, but he's also the scariest person Hopper's ever met. The prince tries to avoid him, terrified of getting scolded, and will bark out agreements if it means getting him to leave him alone. It's not fair, En's butler is really quiet and reserved! How come Heinrich's always charging around like a bull that sees red?!
[Love Interest] At first Heinrich was annoyed to death by this FILTHY guest and her blatant lack of etiquette. Yet somehow her persistence in talking to him gained his attention, and what started with humoring her gibberish ended with authentic care.
It was love at first sight for Chickie. She was enamored the first time she met her Handsome Butler Love. Though their meeting was odd to say the least, they really bonded over the terrible-ness of their "true loves". If you ask Chickie, she only has one true love, and it's Heinny!
[Related] Heinrich is very proud that his daughter chose to be a maid for the royal family. She's learned a lot from him and has done a superb job at handling the royal family's needs, though there's still more she could learn before he's ready to call her a head maid.
[Related] Catja looks up to her father as the ideal butler, what everyone should strive for! Especially now, working for the royal family of Anthea herself, she always seems to be eagerly seeking his approval in her maid duties.
