Powers

Destrucants are members of the magic power class. They create balls of iron from their mouths and then launch it like a cannon ball by clenching the iron in their mandibles until it is squeezed out at high velocity. This attack rips most emotibeasts, but its intended use is for wrecking down structures that their monarachorm now longer has use for.

Appearance

Destrucants are red ants with black joints, hands, eyes,  crest, and antennae. They grow up to 5'3". Their hands are very round and spherical and seem to be made out material comparable to iron in hardness.  On their chest is a black triangle. They have five sharp teeth on each jaw as well as two long mandibles that are almost as big as their head.

Other

Destrucants belong to the Feral social class, and are seen as a demolition parallel to the Construbee. Destrucants are used by Monarachorms for both battle, and for landscaping of the island. Destrucants travel in squads like armies, with the leader of the squad being called a Commander. Commander destrucants have special symbols on their chest to symbolize their leadership. Destrucants are saved only for the most dire battles since their power can lead to unintentional destruction quite easily. They are often designated to living arrangements near the construbee hives.

Story

As you'd expect the destrucants are used for demolition by their queen. They are usually made from creatures with rather violent impulses. A monarachorm will only start making destrucants after its already made construbees so that it can use them together to destroy what structures it needs to, and then use construbees to build new structures in its place. Despite being fueled by destructive thoughts they recognize a symbiotic relationship with their fellow insectincts the construbees. They like asking them to build them stuff so that they can then destroy it. This is a process that repeats again and again.

Trivia

● Destrucants eat mostly rocks, metals, and ores.

● Destrucants can eat ten times their body weight in a day, most consumption is used for the creation of their iron.

● As soon as its launched, the Destrucants body starts siphoning all the iron in the Destrucants body to create a whole new iron ball to launch. If it uses its power to much it will develop iron deficiency 

● Despite all their destructive power, Destrucants still cant swim

● Destrucants are capable of performing an ant mill with their fellow members if they lose track of their commander.
