Soo-jin
Overview
Kim Soo-jin is a patron in the Caesar Organisation's Hephaestus unit; he is one of the company's attornies and head of the Org's legal team. An unassuming and overworked individual - yet another run of the mill businessman - he is often found battling mountains of legal paperwork without batting an eyelid.
He was once one of the top lawyers in X28 and now spends his work hours fending off various claims and lawsuits diligently. He may look fairly average but his style of working is dominating and caging, rebutting and shutting off option after option, forcing their hand to his preferred outcome.
Adonis? Oh Jin, yeah he's a good guy, although I reckon if you smacked his ass it'd break your hand and make a metal clang - dude's like a robot!

Upon first glance, Soojin is a very highly-strung, serious businessman with very little about him outside of that. He is very punctual and oragnised, not one for speaking or acting out of place as he is here to do his job and his job only. He speaks formally to most - if not all - of his coworkers, especially so to his higher-ups and keeps to himself.
If you spend more time around him, however, you will see even someone as robotic as him has little human quirks. He furrows his brow as a reaction to most things, rubs his face with both his hands when he's stressed, gets huffy when people are as efficient as he'd like and drinks strictly iced coffees - none of that hot rubbish; the more sugar the better!
Soojin's professionalism bleeds into the way he talks both on and off the clock; he rarely stray away from a flat tone or soft volume, avoids shortening words and doesn't use any slang. He speaks clearly & matter-of-factly, almost like he's delivering a speech or speaking in court. Given the right circumstances, his voice could probably be quite comforting or endearing - like if you caught him just after sleep - but it's unusual.
Soojin is a reserved individual who's very reluctant to overtly express his love or affection for someone, but that isn't to say he's not a caring person. He instead favours subtler methods such as acts of service or wanting to do things with company which makes for a right pain when trying to catch someone's attention. If all else fails, he may just verbally express his affections outright, but where's the fun in that?

Design notes
- He has quite a prominent aquiline nose
- He's usually seen with purple eyebags from lack of sleep
- His hair is styled & slicked back 99% of the time with the odd loose strands; the only time you'll find him with his hair down is in the morning/evening
- He has quite a slim, lithe figure as he can't exercise strenuously. He doesn't like to be considered weak though so keep an eye on his build and maintains a small amount of muscle.
- He's usually seen in some variation of his work clothes - a suit or shirt & tie, occasionally wearing a waistcoat too.

Soojin was born the eldest of 3 children, and with that came the unspoken burden of needing to be the role model for his younger siblings & the first to provide for his household. However, he was frail, sickly kid - always struggling with his energy levels, frequent bouts of flu, and muscle aches - and so spent a lot of time unable to do much. This slowly led up to his siblings overtaking him in many aspects which created a lot of guilt for Soojin and made him feel like somewhat of a bad son for not doing what was expected of him.
He eventually decided to do something about it instead of wallowing in his feelings and risk developing resentment towards his family, so he began develop intensive study routines in order to further enhance his academics. He grew into a very intelligent young man with an interest in the law, and as he grew he learnt how to live with his illness as well as receive a diagnosis & access to resources to help him combat the symptoms. Soojin then worked his ass off to become one of X28's top lawyers, gaining an impressive track record in addition to some major cases.
PRESENT DAY
- Lost a dangerous case that risked lives
- Gave up his other life and began working for the Caesar Organisation
- Keeps in touch with his family to know they're safe
Despite his great successes, he unfortunately lost a big case with an incredibly volatile client who wasted no time issuing threats upon not only Soojin's life, but the lives of his family; he knew that those were definitely not empty threats. With his family at risk, he all but disappeared into the shadows of the city (not without moving his family somewhere safer) and found a job at the Caesar Organisation, working within Hephaestus as an attorney and supervisor of the company's legal team.
He still keeps in contact with all of his family members regularly, ensuring they are safe and contributing funds towards their new lifestyle as both duty for being the eldest & gratitude for what they provided him with as he grew up. He doesn't visit very often though, too swamped in work & dealing with his coworkers (who he's admittedly grown fond of in his own strange way).

CRITICAL THINKING
Soojin is always doing his best to maintain a sharp mind and constantly reviews materials & exercises to further refine his critical thinking & judgement - something that is crucial to his job.
STRUCTURING ARGUMENTS
Combining his intelligence with his literacy & speaking skills, Soojin has mastered creating and delivering well-crafted arguments that leave his opponents struggling for a comeback as he shuts down all potential counter-arguments, and tips the scale to the outcome he wants.
TIME MANAGEMENT
Soojin is a very organised and orderly person who very much aims to be as precise as possible in everything he does. He spends no more time than necessary on any task, work or not, and runs his own life like the navy. He can juggle many tasks at once and get them all done to the best of his ability... that's not to say he does it within normal office hours or schedules himself proper rest.. Maybe he's a little disillusioned about his ability.
Eudora are two very similar individuals, with similar habits and thought processes, so the two of them understand each other & get on very well - apparently? It's hard to tell for the other patrons, but at least in Soojin's view, he considers the two of them as allied forces (friends.)
Their biggest difference, however, is preference of animal. Eudora is a cat lover, Soojin prefers dogs; the two of them sometimes attempt to convince the other of their preference's superiority, which never works.
Angel is another coworker of Soojin & the two of them work quite closely. Whilst their styles of working are quite different - he gets heart palpatations at the state of Angel's desk - Soojin respects him and what he does quite a lot.
He is also a frequenter to Angel's snack drawer when he is craving something sugary or needig energy on a bad day, and Angel being the guy he is, is always happy to oblige.
Chuck (or Louise as Soojin insists on calling him) is a fellow patron over in Demeter who - for the past few months - has been teaching him how to handle a gun to ensure he remains up to the organisation's standards.
He can't help but be drawn to his Southern charm & rugged good looks (he may have a bit of type) but struggles to identify whether the attraction is mutual. Until Chuck says something, or Soojin finally stops being stubborn and says something, the two will remain ambiguously connected.
