He often comes off as distant or cold, this is mainly due to the fact he is slightly shy, however he also enjoys the company of others. Aside from his outward disposition, he is earnest and always tries to do good, when with friends he becomes excitable and boisterous which can make him clumsy and his good intentions often lead him to jumping into action quickly and can lead him to acting brash or irrationally at times. While he wants to do good, he's not a stickler for rules and can be rebellious at times, which can be seen with his desire to drive fast and somewhat carefree attitude. He can be indecisive in personal decisions, can often act irrationally or too quickly.

Ed has blond hair, often gelled back, pale grey eyes and pale skin. He has strong, pointy features and a muscular build. His usual outfit includes his favourite jacket, plain jeans, high top sneakers and sunglasses, however he does also own various other sets of casual clothes, preferring brightly coloured jackets and shoes, and is rarely seen wearing formal clothes. He always gels his hair back in the morning, when he can.

He enjoys driving and diner foods such as pancakes, hot dogs, waffles and burgers, his sunglasses help to protect his light-sensitive eyes and as such he wears them often and has grown attached to them. He loves his car, and cars in general, though he will always say that his car is the best despite it being an older middle-of-the-line model. His favourite jacket is a red-orange, navy and cream windbreaker, which he is often seen wearing.

Technically, he is a zombie. After a car accident, he was found and brought back to life by a mad scientist, because of this he has extreme resilience and can 'survive' most injuries as long as his head isn't destroyed or most of his body remains intact. He also has a higher than normal physical strength and a much slower metabolism than most people only getting hungry, tired or thirsty at about a third of the rate of a regular person.

He lives with the scientist who found him and is currently exploring the new world of mad science that has opened up to him, he is trying to find a way to connect back to his old friends and family.
