Eugenie is Hylton's mother, but the two are quite different from one another. She is cold, callous, and bloodthirsty, and Hylton is secretly somewhat afraid of her. It puzzles Eugenie that Hylton has not inherited her drive to harvest souls, and she often snaps at him as a result. Hylton does his best to please her, but tends to fall short of her standards.

Bosch is Hylton's father, and he takes more after Bosch than he does Eugenie. Bosch appreciates the finer things in life, and he has passed this love of leisure down to Hylton. He is typically a cruel and conniving man, but has a soft spot for his children. Though Bosch sometimes worries about Hylton's apparent lack of drive, he is glad that Hylton seems to be enjoying himself.

Annabelle is one of Hylton's two younger sisters. She took some of the family's negative attention off of him when she defected from the side of demons to that of the angels. Hylton secretly admires his brave, kindhearted sister, although he is uncertain as to whether he would ever follow in her footsteps. Annabelle wishes that Hylton would join her--she sees him as having a truly benevolent nature.

Charlene is Hylton's youngest sister, and she has always been the apple of their parents' eyes, probably because she works harder than Hylton does. Where Hylton is laid-back and does not really mean anyone harm, Charlene is vicious and driven--but hides these qualities with a sweet smile. She and Hylton experience a good deal of sibling rivalry, with Charlene typically having the upper hand. Despite this, Hylton loves his sister and wishes her well.

Candy is a young woman with an interest in the occult who accidentally summoned Charlene via a failed love ritual, and thus she became acquainted with Hylton by extension. Hylton thinks Candy is a pretty cool lady--she's cheerful, inquisitive, and not easily shocked. He is therefore reluctant to bring her back to Hell. Candy, for her part, does not trust Hylton as far as she can throw him, and wishes that he would stay far, far away.

Christopher is Hylton's quarry Candy's younger half-brother, which led the two to be introduced. He is fierce, brave, and opinionated, which would normally make Hylton interested in being his friend. However, Christopher is also fiercely devoted to his sister, and thus despises Hylton. Hylton is therefore frightened of Christopher, and wishes that he would find some other way to occupy himself.

Roslyn is a spirit who Candy contacted via Ouija board, and the two are now best friends. This is bad news for Hylton, because Roslyn is both powerful and protective of Candy. Roslyn is kind to those whom she cares for, but vindictive, crafty, and relentless towards her enemies. Hylton is beginning to feel that he is in over his head with her.

Bart is a medium who Candy hired in the hope of ridding herself of Hylton and the rest of his family. However, Bart has so far proven himself to be more in alliance with the demons than with Candy--beneath his veneer of charm, he is self-absorbed and power-hungry. Hylton's family is currently attempting to win over Bart's soul, but Hylton would rather keep Bart as a friend--he views him as a fun and interesting potential companion. It remains to be seen who, if anyone, Bart will forge an alliance with--he is very much looking out for number one.

Song is an angel who forged a friendship with Roslyn when she first came to the afterlife, and thus they have joined Roslyn in the fight to save Candy's soul from Hylton's family. Hylton simultaneously admires Song's kind nature and is terrified of them--he feels ashamed in Song's presence, and feels certain that Song intends to punish him. However, as Song has had more encounters with Hylton, they are coming to see that Hylton is a bit different from the rest of his family--a bit less...evil. Song thus currently holds out hope that they may be able to save Hylton and turn him away from his life of sin, although this is far from certain...
