A Demon Lord who used to be her greatest enemy before becoming her closest friend. He's the only one she's kept in any sort of contact with over the past many years, infrequently visiting him or inviting him to wherever she plans to drift toward next. She's grateful that he's tried so hard to find Langer and bring forth the world they all dreamed of, but she's too tired to do anything more. She wishes him the best, but she was never much of an optimist. He doesn't need to concern himself with paying her back for taking her eye and being able to do little with it. He's done enough, really.
A former Higher Angel who was kicked out of Heaven - a story he's no stranger to. They were originally enemies, but over time Langer helped bring them together as friends. After Langer's disappearance they were both equally eager to find him, working in tandem to search Heaven, Hell, and the mortal plane. But even after LaPlata contracted with him, he couldn't find so much as a trace of Langer. To this day he still seeks out Langer, but no longer just for his own purposes. He wants to complete his contract with LaPlata both for the sake of his own honor and for the sake of LaPlata's happiness.
One of the first humans she ever met or became close to. Up until Langer's disappearance they were just sort of acquainted, mostly brought together by Langer. After Langer vanished, however, LaPlata wound up clinging to Ouray for comfort, seeing them as all they had left of Langer. Ouray didn't seem to mind, so the two wound up in a strange sort of relationship built entirely on a mutual longing for Langer's return. The two had several children and struggled to care for them as though they were really her own, especially as Ouray became increasingly disinterested in living.
After Ouray's death, she felt she had nothing anchoring her to anything and drifted away from her family before long, wandering the world and quietly wishing for a return to those brief but happy days that they were all together.
One of their previous adventuring companions! They were fairly friendly back in the day, but honestly they were mostly connected by Langer. Once he was gone, all they had was their memories of him to keep them together. This led to them beginning a somewhat half-hearted relationship, almost in honor of Langer, and while they had several children their bond never really strengthened that much. LaPlata just didn't have the heart to get closer to anyone, and Ouray didn't have the means to "fix" that.
They didn't regret being together with her by any means, but both of them were well aware that they were just trying to fill up a void left by someone they couldn't replace.
Her boyfriend, who she still hasn't forgotten or let go of after all these years. He was the first being she ever made a true, genuine connection with, and even though she met others after him the impact he made on her will never fade. The loss of him was tremendously crippling to her, leading to her fall from Heaven and causing her to become a recluse. Her life revolves around finding him, though by this point she's accepted that she might never see him again - that she'll have to find a way to move on and still love life as he would have wanted for her.
She has no idea that he's actually perfectly safe in another Reality somewhere, and that the likelihood of them meeting again is rapidly increasing...
His girlfriend, who even now he remembers vividly. When he first became a Chilly, the first thing he thought of was how she'd react to his absence... they were always so close that he's afraid of how hurt she might be. Of course, he always knew her as being strong, so hopefully everything wound up being okay...
Even if she's fine, though, he'd really like to be able to see her again. He misses her a lot.
