Daisuke is his friend. Robin was a little bit iffy about him at first since he once saw him flirt with Marissa. He eventually got over it once he found out that Daisuke wasn't aware that Marissa was taken at the time. Robin doesn't mind his playful and flirty personality too much, so long as it isn't directed at his girl. They eventually grow close enough to hang out with each other over time.

Daisuke thinks that Robin is kinda hot (literally and figuratively) and did kinda try to ask him out too, but then realized that it’s probably better to just seek out other people that aren’t already taken instead.
