Lis Khang

Strange, Mellow, Insecure, Obsessive, Cynical, Depressed, Recluse, Sadistic 

Lis Khang is a strange mad scientist who has worked his way up the ranks in The Cult in The Mountains. He's comes across as very mellow most of the time, but he is very unpredictable. 

Lis Khang was a simple man with simple desires: to be liked, to help people, to have approval from those he respects. It look him a long to realize that he wasn't cut out for the life he made for himself. He grew far removed from people and hid himself in his emotions-- feeling desperately sorry for himself in the remote reaches outside the Oasis. He became addicted to it. He learned that emotions were a dangerous but powerful thing.

It wasn't until The Cult in the Mountains caught wind of a visitor that he was able to achieve his dreams. Instead of wallowing in sadness, he buried himself in research, trying to improve himself. To give himself that special extra something that he lacked: Charm. That's what all the Cultist's had. 

They gave him a lab, proper research materials, and his experiments became his new obsession. Soon, he learned how to liquify qualities, emotions, desires. ex: Charm, Drive, Motivation, Passion, Happiness, Assertiveness. They were like a drug. When all else fails, he now relies on these injections of his own creation to feel something. Without them, he is a depressing, cynical man, but perhaps more himself and kinder.

Lis Khang officially joined the ranks of The Cult in The Mountains, and became a favorite of the cult leader, having proved his abilities in the lab. He is now their in house scientist, doctor, researcher, and sits on the council despite the fact that some people disagree with this choice. 

Lis Khang loves to talk to people and enjoys visitors of all kinds despite his reclusive habits.
