Diana Nicholas

Diana has lived a largely ordinary life for the people of Invidia, although she's been praised since childhood for being a genius and prodigy for her aptitude for logical thinking, as well as generally high intelligence. She graduated from her schooling early, and was welcomed into D-SEC with a paid internship to learn under the best of the best, so that she might help make great future advancements in the science department. Her strengths lie especially in astronomy, but she has the talent and willingness to learn and handle any other material thrown at her. She hopes to one day assist D-SEC in sending a new colony into space.

She often comes across as being aloof, cold, and calculating, naturally creating distance between herself and others. Although she is indeed a logical thinker, though, she's actually very emotional under the surface, she's simply not used to expressing it. She tends to get easily flustered when she's alone, often feeling so a good time after she's been complimented or otherwise worked up. She's also unknowingly Raven's rival and doesn't understand why he's so standoffish with her, as she doesn't mind him much at all.

Diana is a recurring character in Time of Death and is often see around headquarters, where she works. Being one of the science department, Diana contains a lot of knowledge about modern tech that she is more than happy to share, but she doesn't tend to serve as an inventor so much as she is a researcher.

She tends to support Drake's decisions and serves as a foil to Raven. As the story progresses, her insight becomes increasingly important to the other characters.
