Personality

Just stepping out of childhood and into adolescence, Mallory can't find herself to be a grown up. Her child-like behavior isn't as bratty as other immature young adults would be. More like, she's a shy child under a teen's skin. She stares down at her shoes when talking to people she doesn't know or doesn't like. Her language is very scarce, using as very few words as possible in her responses to avoid intimacy. She assures herself it's for the best not to get too close to avoid rejection. When people around her age attempt to approach her Mallory would fake tears and step away from them so they'd leave her be. Teenagers scare her the most. She doesn't like getting their attention for her cutesy appearance. Mallory copes by playing games. Her favorite one to play is Hospital. With her stuffed animals or her "friends", she enjoys the role of being a caring nurse that showers them with nurturing hospitality. Through playing this game, she reflects her caring nature towards her patients; to fulfill her role as a nurse and preserve the delicate lives of humans.

Trivia

  • Studies flower language in her spare time. She leaves certain flowers for people she wishes to get to know better or for people she wants to curse. Flowers do a better job expressing her feelings rather than verbalizing them.
  • Likes to use natural remedies to treat patients suffering minor pains or illnesses. In more serious cases she'll resort to traditional painkillers/medicine.
  • Has a habit of using more bandages than needed. Aside from that, Mallory is careful handling wounds and makes sure they are covered and secured well.
  • Those who find people getting hurt funny make her uncomfortable and upset.
  • Still plays with toys and collects animal plushies. She also enjoys puzzles and coloring books.
  • Occasionally caught making slight face changes or giggling to herself when nothing's happening. She is interacting with the triplets when that happens.
  • Gets flustered easily when topics relating to sex arise.
  • She likes to collect cute patterned bandaids to use on herself or for her patients.
  • Fancies smocked and lolita dresses. She doesn't feel comfortable in spaghetti straps or anything that reveal her undergarnments.
  • The triplets aren't real people. They are Mallory's imaginary friends. In a way, they are her OC's. Mallory talks about them like they're real. She gets upset when people deny their existence and will ask to leave her alone to spend time with them instead.
  • People or animals with psychic powers or dream magic can see them and communicate to them. Witches, wish-granters, and spell-makers can temporarily make them real.
  • (Mediborgs are a closed species by Nyxium. Do not make one of your own without permission.)
History

Mallory was born in the Medi-Borgs Incorporation. Her purpose in life is to serve as a nurse like every other Mediborg was destined to be. There was something wrong about her behavior while she was being tested. She lacked the appropriate behaviors of a normal nurse. Mallory grew avoidant around others. She moves away from Mediborgs that try to approach her, even when they're gentle. She hardly responds in small talk. Certain words or topics trigger her and cause Mallory to get agitated or cry. Mallory wasn't a malfunctioning Mediborg, but the incorporation couldn't accept such a touchy prototype who couldn't take her role seriously. She'd make the business look bad. Instead of assigning her to her forever home, Mallory was sent to be scraped with the other malfunctioning Mediborgs that failed. Mallory overheard this and escaped from the incorporation that night. She wasn't like the others. She was different. She didn't like being different. If only she were like the others Mallory would find belonging not only in the incorporation, but in her forever home where she could've lived with a loving owner and a loving family. That's not what she could ever achieve. Her purpose was left to waste. As she wandered aimlessly away from the incorporation, Mallory realized that even if she were to be taken to a new home, her guardian(s) wouldn't be pleased with her abnormal personality. She grew afraid of the disappointment she'd bring if she couldn't do her job right, if she couldn't meet their expectations or fulfill their satisfactions of being a perfectly functioning Mediborg. She grew afraid of being put in the wrong hands only to be handled carelessly and become a malfunction. All while these thoughts raced in her mind, she stopped walking. Mallory found herself standing alone in a playground. This was where her new life began.

Why look for friends when you can create them on your own? That was Mallory's solution. Nobody in the real world is perfect. That's what makes her imagination special; she can create her ideal friends who have no flaws and will be her friend no matter what. She befriended a pair of triplets that day. They were people who never ever judged her for the way she talks, the way she acts, or for whatever decisions she made. They always understood how she feels. They never betray her or leave her behind. She can summon them whenever she wants to and they'll come to her rescue. They were absolutely perfect. Her "new friends" gave Mallory a sense of belonging. She didn't need any real friends to get by. Everything she could ever want in a friend was all under her own control. Everything was perfect... That's what she wants to believe anyways. Fitting in in the real world opened her eyes to a reality that made her own little world incomplete. She saw couples holding hands and embracing each other in their arms as they stroll along the streets. They'd exchange sweet kisses and cuddly hugs. She saw groups of people young and old playing together. Laughter filled the air around them. Smiles were shared. Meals were enjoyed. Tears were dried away. Hearts were touched. None of those things are things Mallory could really do with her "friends". She's grateful for them, but her "friends" can only do so much for her. At the bottom of her heart, Mallory longs for a real person to confide with. With her unapproachable personality, who could ever love a heartless robot like her? For years up to this day, Mallory wishes to find the cure for her lovesickness. Until then, she spends the rest of her life providing aid for the injured and the ill at her own place. Her house serves as her home and her own little hospital.

Asada | Guardian/Host

Mallory sees her as a mother and a best friend who she can always feel safe around. Having a guardian to be loved by and cared for encourages Mallory to become a better nurse. She loves to sticker her with bandaids sometimes.

Astraeus | Friend

He's one of Mallory's new friends thanks to Asada. They found him creating stars one day, and since then she loves to visit him. They would spend nights using the sky as their canvas and Mallory would tell Astraeus what she wants to see. It's whimsical to see the canopy of stars come to life through his intricate constellations.

A regular patient of Mallory. She sees Isa quite frequently, and while she is a cooperative patient, Mallory does not like being teased through her flirty compliments. She does not like seeing Isa upset either, so she remains quiet and take care of her injuries.
