Former Crewmember: Ifrah "Snow" Sharaf

◆BIOGRAPHY:

▶Ifrah was the co-founder of Snow & Arrow, and the "Snow" in the company name; she took her nickname from the unusual white hair she had been born with.  She was a police officer on Earth and later in space, but had grown tired of the corruption and injustice she would have to deal with on the job and dreamed of a different way she could help others instead.  Together with Azriel Fletcher, she devised a company of mercenaries that would take jobs to assist the galactic populace instead of harm, and Snow & Arrow was born.  Snow quickly became attached to the idea and poured all her savings into making it a reality.  Once she had her first crew together (she, Azriel, Ignazio, [perseus], Zschauin, and Vargas) she immediately started treating them like family.  Though moderating others was sometimes difficult for her--she always found it hard to be critical of someone--she was a well-respected captain.  After a mission turned sour, Snow came down with a mysterious alien disease to which she succumbed only after a few days.  Her death remains a sensitive subject among the crewmembers.

▶She and Azriel go way back; they were once an infamous thief, and she was the one to arrest them, though this quickly turned into Snow seeking to aid in their rehabilitation.  After a happenstance meeting after Azriel's release from prison and Snow's resignation from the force, she invited them to become a co-founder of the company she was looking to start.  Snow was always looking out for Azriel, hoping, like a mother, that their attitude would improve and they would learn to understand others.  She never saw their full development, but even on her deathbed, she had faith in them, hence why she transferred the position of captain to them.  Azriel took on the mantle with sorrow and pride, but the decision still bothers them in the present--it was a mission they chose that led to Snow's demise, after all.  Did she make the right choice putting so much trust in them?

◆FUN FACTS: 

▶Her intersex condition is specifically complete androgen insensitivity syndrome (CAIS).

▶She always liked the idea of being a mother, but in some ways she ended up being the mother to the crew instead (especially Azriel, who was much younger than her).

▶She had a love for cats and dogs, and while she had pets on Earth, once she was living full-time in space she decided against getting new ones over fear of them accidentally escaping the spaceship.
