Rion's Links
Though the two siblings butt heads more than they get along, their bond is inseparable and they care for one another greatly.
The two had run into some kidnappers and Rion had let himself be taken to ensure Rynn’s safety. In the end, the kidnappers let him go because he had complained and whined so much about his well-being (once he was sure their goal wasn’t to harm him.) He could never forget the look on Rynn’s face when he was found, but also peeved that she didn’t believe he would make it.
Though the two siblings butt heads more than they get along, their bond is inseparable and they care for one another greatly.
The two had run into some kidnappers and Rion had been taken. Since then, Rynn had been on an endless hunt to search him down all across Teyvat, worried sick to her stomach. When she found him, she was surprised but greatly relieved to see him perfectly fine on the side of a road, eating a snack. She wasn’t even angry seeing his nonchalance, just impressed. Guess she had underestimated him.
After the whole ordeal, Rion found himself suspicious of any new stranger, especially if they were an adult. However, after getting to know Yvonne he found that she was very caring and thoughtful. He couldn’t bring himself to impose on such a person so he had rejected her offer to stay longer, dragging a reluctant Rynn with him.
He’d love to visit again.
Yvonne had found the two siblings wandering around late one evening near a hilichurl camp, to which she lectured them about being alone. When she learned that they were looking for a place to stay, she didn’t hesitate to take them in, looking at their troubled expressions. The younger brother was extremely on guard the entire time, but once seeing the garden, became very courteous.
Though he didn’t outright do any housework, he seemed very observant in her well-being, how sweet. Hopefully Flax can become friends with these children…
He has a rude look in his eye. Hmph.
He sees Flax’s impulsiveness and can see that he could be trouble…
If he’s gonna stay, he should do some housework. Annoying…
(Why do I hear boss music?)
Rion had noticed some rustling in Lady Yvonne’s beautiful garden, and had stared out the window in both fear and agitation; who dares disturb the peace of the night?
He can’t help but feel terrified of this girl but he had to stand strong.
“Your shameless sneaking around is quite immature. You’re disturbing not only me, but all of the property. You should leave.”
Rion can only scoff. “I see you’re childish enough to still be playing hide and seek. Besides, who’re you playing with anyway? Yourself?” At any rate, it’s clear he wasn’t able to tolerate this girl… How can Rynn stand her???
The thought of having dinner together… plus the fact that she brought his ‘parents’ up made him go silent.
“No, not really,” was all he could say before turning his attention elsewhere. “You can keep playing. Do what you want.”
WHo dares chase Morina out when YVonne lets her StAY?? The NeRvE
"Listen, Flower-head. I'm 'perfectly welcome' here. Maybe you just don't know how to play hide and seek."
"My Daddy of course. If I hide here he'll be forced to come join us for dinner (and I won't have to eat his lizard stew). Don't you play hide and seek with your parents too?"
Rion had been observing the others in the shade while they were playing; Rynn, Morina and Flax seemed to be having fun, and that was good enough for him. Once in a while Rynn would drag him out, to which he’d entertain them for a while and then go back to sitting. He could see Valerian also observing them from a few feet away and was at first quite wary, but saw that this was probably Morina’s father, intimidating but harmless enough.
Putting aside the fact that Morina had spoken for him, he was sure to give the man a courteous smile before speaking.
“Yes, I met your… nice daughter. I’m Rion. Will you stay with us for dinner?”
A young boy Valerian met after tracing Morina to Yvonne's place during a round of hide-and-seek. The children seemed to be getting along while chatting at first, so Valerian took his time before approaching them. Unfortunately, up close there seemed to be some sort of tension between them, and Valerian was compelled to pick Morina up to put some distance between them before a fight broke out. In attempt to change the topic and diffuse the tension, he had asked the boy if he was a guest of Yvonne's.
Morina, peering from her spot being carried by Valerian, looking down at Rion: "Yes, he's a new friend! He was just about to introduce himself, right?"
His first impression of Carlisle was of a scrawny scarecrow. He’d probably not get along with him, (what is that look he’s giving him?? How rude!) but at the very least Rion was impressed with the very grown-up way he carried himself. He seems quite knowledgeable too.
Oh dear archons Morina multiplied. Carlisle thought Rion was a bit rude for a kid (hence the comparison to Morina), but hey, at least this one doesn't actually associate with Morina. In fact, he seemed to not like her that much. Stay smart, stay safe, flower boy.
