Adachi Kentaro's Links
Adachi's half-brother. The two didn't meet until Adachi was in his mid teens, but when Adachi saw how Spencer was being treated by their father, he was compelled to stick around to keep an eye on his younger brother. The duo are a lethal combination; both are incredibly loud and are "passionate" about Adachi's gang. Kentaro won't hesitate to call Spencer out when he's being overbearing, and has walloped him over the head more than once. If you mess with Spencer, you're messing with Adachi, and he has the full power of his gang behind him. In saying that though, Adachi finds it hilarious when Spencer goes nuclear, and he will often rile up his little brother to see how he reacts. Never does a day go by where the two aren't arguing about something, but most of these arguments are menial in nature, and the pair are able to come to an agreement when the subject matter is something particularly serious.
Adachi's relationship with Shinohara is complicated, though Adachi would prefer to use the term "annoying as shit". Hired by Shinohara's father to serve as a bodyguard for Shinohara while the octarian prince moved to Inkopolis to further the family business, Adachi struggled for a very long time to put up with Shinohara's posh and demanding demeanour. Additionally, Adachi's strict instructions to ignore Shinohara's advances wore the inkling down, especially thanks to Shinohara's near constant flirting. However, as time went on and Adachi was forced to get to know Shinohara better, the inkling came to realise that a lot of the prince's behaviour came from general inexperience, and lack of understanding into how the world works. He took it upon himself to help Shinohara experience things from a point of view which didn't involve thirty thousand dollar bottles of champagne and room service, and once he started working for Shinohara instead of the prince's father, was quick to give in to Shinohara's requests. Though he would never admit it to his gang, Adachi has a big soft spot for Shinohara, and was low-key delighted when the prince asked to make their relationship official. They have both agreed to keep their relationship a secret, and Adachi doesn't mind. After all, he has a tough persona to keep up, and can't have people thinking that he's a softie.
Teri believes that Adachi's sexual orientation is a giant waste for women everywhere. If he ever changes his mind about this, she is competing with Beatrice for first dibs. They interact very infrequently, whether through mutual friends or Oriza.
Although not technically a member of the Screaming Banshees, Chester spends a fair bit of time at the diner, after tracing back the family tree and finding that they are related in some capacity. He adores Adachi.
Axton and Adachi have been friends for years, though doesn't appreciate Adachi's use of his lawyer degree to end any argument ever. Sometimes Axton will "accidentally" give Adachi the locations of offenders who slip through the cracks of the justice system, and sometimes Adachi will "accidentally" beat the shit out of them.
Molly likes Adachi, and has known him since Adachi worked as a security guard for the cafe. He tolerates Adachi's goading about his lack of initiative for his love life.
Lizard idolises Adachi like nothing else, and wishes he could be as cool and intimidating as Adachi.
Tsuki loves Adachi. She is always delighted when he comes to the maid cafe to visit, and Tsuki is one of the many maids that fights over serving him when he comes to eat. Tsuki has known Adachi ever since his job as a security guard for the cafe, and sometimes goes to the diner to hang out.
Whenever Camille appears on TV during league games or is mentioned in passing, Adachi is the first person to announce that he knew Camille when he was a teenager and that he "Taught that little menace everything he knows". He hasn't spoken to Camille in years, but if the inkling needed anything from Adachi and the gang, he would have it.
Adachi is Camille's self professed "delinquent supervisor", the two frequently ditching class and hanging out to smoke during their short few years at high school together. They don't speak much anymore, but if either of them needed help, the other would be there with no hesitation.
