Profile

Bio

To be a great performer, one has to have talent, devotion, and an unquenchable thirst for success. That’s what Higgy believes. He knows he’s the best performer in his company, and probably even the country, and he won’t stop until he gets the respect he rightfully deserves. Higgy dedicates most of his day working harder than anyone else, perfecting his craft. He eats, sleeps, and breathes dance. No one can get in the way of his goals, and he has little tolerance for anyone who might hold him back. All of this has gained Higgy a reputation of being cold, arrogant, and unbearable, and he… is trying to change. Somewhat. After certain events, Higgy’s come to the realization that he needs a bit of an attitude adjustment. Now in charge of a new band, he’s trying to learn how to become a better leader while still striving to bring them to the top of the charts.

Personality

To some, Higgy is graceful, elegant, and as cool as fresh mint. Others find him unapproachable and intimidating. He’d say they’re all correct. The choreographer prides himself on many things, including his looks, his skills, and his knack for efficiency, but appears more humble on camera, because he leaves most of the talking to Nicky. Speaking of efficiency, Higgy has no time for lies. Blunt honesty is one of his core personality traits, and one he’s not willing to change anytime soon. However, this honesty isn’t always negative. Higgy is as willing to tell someone their weaknesses as he is their strengths, and this even extends to himself. Though his personality is big, he's actually quite quiet and reserved. Silently judging. He’s very protective of the few he considers friends and family.

Backstory

Higgy and his younger sister lived a fairly normal and happy childhood with their maternal aunt and uncle, along with their twin cousins (whom they refer to as siblings) helping with their family-owned convenience store. One day Higgy got recruited to join Bakers' Entertainment due to his love of dancing, and despite wanting to work at his uncle's shop, his family urged him to take the opportunity. He did, ending up in the band Roller Breakers, a boy band on roller skates. He wasn't the leader, but after a while, the fame started getting to his head and he thought that the actual leader wasn't pushing the group as hard as he should've. This caused them to butt heads. A lot. Higgy also became spoiled-rotten and ended up being a major jerk to people, including his family. At that point, they, along with his manager, had to intervene, and he's been trying to make amends ever since. He eventually leaves the group and starts another one with Nicky, and later Toni called Hinito.

Relationships

Nicky - "I like Nicky. He's strange, but I like him." Nicky is Higgy's best friend. Higgy doesn't quite understand him all the time, but hey, that's what makes Nicky Nicky. Higgy knows he can trust Nicky with just about anything, and opens up more to him than most people. Nicky gently reminds Higgy to be a little more forgiving of people, while Higgy tries to drill into Nicky's head why it's good to be more cautious. They balance each other out, they respect one another, they're like brothers. If anyone dare hurts Nicky, they'll have to answer to Higgy (as well as everyone else in the company, but definitely Higgy.)

Maxy - "Ew!!" Higgy and Maxy are.....not on good terms, because Higgy thinks Maxy is a backslider that got by despite any semblance of standards. Higgy, being who he is, told him that directly to his face. Anyone can imagine how that went. To Higgy, Maxy is an irresponsible, untalented slacker, and doesn't deserve the fame that he got. Among other things, he feels that Maxy is unhygenic, immature, obnoxiously loud, lazy, and a nuisance in general. How dare he have more of an audience than Higgy with those stale moves! Because of all this, the two started out as bitter enemies, but they've softened to just being rivals now.

Toni - "Toni's a good kid." Toni is like a little brother to Higgy. After Higgy was able to get past the fact that Toni was a former member of Maxy's group, he saw potential in Toni, potential to be the second-best dancer in Bakers' Entertainment. Under Higgy's guidance, that potential was realized. Higgy doesn't quite get Toni, with his childlike obsession with stuffed animals, other toys, and weird clothes, but he does what he's told, so Higgy doesn't really mind. Higgy makes some effort to be careful with Toni's feelings, but sometimes that has to be sacrificed for the truth.

Kenji - "Kenji's one of the smartest people I know. I look up to him." Higgy has a great deal of respect for Kenji, even moreso than Benji. He views Kenji as a reliable older brother figure. He finds Kenji to be the person in the company most similar to himself.

Benji - "I respect him." Higgy doesn't have as close of a connection to Benji as he does Kenji, but he still respects him. He's a bit loud and chummy for his taste, though.

Tsuki - "She's alright." Higgy respects Tsuki and can kinda see why she and her songs are so popular, but he can't help but feel just a teensy bit jealous of her popularity. She doesn't even dance! They don't talk much, but he's heard talk of her having a lot of experience with the business affairs in her company, something unusual for idols in Jiyukoku State. He wonders if there's more to her than just being able to sing...
