[Calm, Manipulative, Mysterious]
Ivair has a very pleasant demeanor, and people often find it very difficult to upset him. Rarely one to respond with anger, he instead offers fake, polite smiles and calm responses. In heated moments, this tends to make the opposition more angry.
From an outsider’s view, Ivair can give off a mysterious appeal. His calm composure and rare real smiles make it difficult to know what he’s thinking (and then he suddenly says some scary shit like he’s talking about the weather). Appearing the kinder and more merciful of the pair, it couldn’t be further from the truth. Often, his acts of “mercy” are simply because he doesn’t want to deal with the aftermath. He is a far colder individual than is let on, Ivair will go to extreme lengths to do what needs to be done.
While Ivair isn’t one to express his anger outright, this doesn’t mean that Ivair does not get annoyed. He simply expresses his displeasure in subtle ways that are definitely passive aggressive. Ivair is definitely a master manipulator. After all, he’s one of the only ones that can gently rein Viserys in (Viserys’ father just ends up bellowing).
Ivair is typically the mind behind their strategies and general plans. He is much more risk averse and often strives for a “perfect” plan.
He has a tendency to ignore Viserys’ provocations, which can end up with a “slightly” sulky Viserys as he almost never rises to the bait. Visery is probably the only one that can read Ivair’s subtle changes in tone/expression and is the one that often reminds Ivair to open up to him instead of doing his “it’s fine.”
Background
The Blancheurats
The Blancheurats are one of the biggest organizations in the world. They have dipped their hands in countless areas, leaving behind numerous enterprises and figures under their control. Ruthless and seemingly reckless, they go after anyone and no one seems to be able to stop them, making their growth seemingly unstoppable.
An organization born from the alliance between Viserys and Ivair’s respective groups. One of Viserys’ great-aunts had married into Ivair’s group, resulting in their parents becoming close friends. Most of their family, including their parents, were lost in a conflict on Ivair’s birthday. Ivair lost his immediate family, with the exception of his twin sister. While Viserys lost most of his main branch, his father managed to survive.
Ivair took on the mantle of his group immediately while Viserys was involved in a lot of his father’s duties, he only officially inherited his position in his late-20s, after his father officially retired.
Background
His mother did not have an “underground” background. She was a ballerina and caught the heart of his father. Later on, his mother took up ballroom dancing and made it part of the family regime. All of their family events always included a period of ballroom-dancing, much to Viserys’ dismay (until he actually took lessons).
Ivair has a younger twin sister and they were brought up under their mother’s caring but strict eye. His mother put great importance on their upbringing and made sure they didn’t grow up too spoiled but the immense wealth he has grown up in will heighten certain expectations. While Ivair was never bratty like Viserys, there are specific standards that are simply expected for him that he has carried to adulthood.
After their loss, while Viserys crumbled, Ivair held on. Although Ivair initially felt despair, and would have most likely collapsed under the pressure from being such a young head. His sister was a huge source of strength for him. She didn’t let him close up and instead forced him to lean on her. She was often very outspoken in the meetings with their other branches, especially if they were being condescending. Ivair admired his sister greatly but decided to send her abroad once he sensed things were getting too dangerous. She usually visits during the holidays.

Other
Viserys
Viserys and Ivair are childhood friends and sworn brothers. While their relationship is purely platonic, they do have a lot of “chemistry” (am a sucker for these lol). They both like to protect one another a tad too much and tend to not want the other to worry, resulting in doing the “everything’s fine, and then calling each other out on it (they are their own hypocrites and they cannot stop lol). While they don’t exactly hide things from each other, they both like dealing with their own problems on their own. However, this has gotten better over the years, especially after Ivair got seriously injured at one point.
Viserys is better at exposing himself to Ivair but will still deal with his problems on his own until Ivair pushes him or Viserys feels it might end up affecting other people. Ivair still tends to keep most things to himself, but will discuss important ones with Viserys. So, Viserys is usually the one prying into Ivair. They both are too good at reading each other but aren’t the type to push until they see they feel it’s gone far enough.
In general, they are quite relaxed with each other, Viserys has a more cheeky attitude while Ivair is much more free with his expressions. The more composed Ivair is, the more suspicious Viserys gets.
Misc.
- had a scarf phase but doesn’t have the heart to tell Viserys that he’s over it, so he keeps accepting the nice scarves
- dances with his sister and Viserys in private on his birthday; bring up them fond memories of his and Viserys’ family (y)
- dislikes long hair, too much of a drag to take care of //but looking so fineeee coughs
- has like 20 of the same white turtlenecks/sweaTERS/T-SHIRTS but for him he likes them because they “look like his other white shirt” //but Ivair, you don’t need a shirt that looks like YOUR OTHER SHIRT. Why, cause iT loOKS LIKE YOUR OTHER SHIRT ???
