Cletus is in the Army so they can't talk all that much, Susie lives in Maine but visits for holidays with her family and she and Wiley sometimes talk on the phone, and Grayson lives under the same roof, and they... Sometimes don't get along. Sometimes do. You know.

BACKSTORY

Describe their childhood (newborn - age 10): Not yet written, sorry

Describe their  teenage years (11 - 19): He and his folks moved up north from [bumfuck nowhere], NC when Wiley was like 12 so Baxter could be with his dad, who was sick, before he died. Despite having good parents Wiley was kind of an asshole in middle school. In maybe Sophomore year of HS he realized he was a dick and toned it down, but he went too far and now he's afraid to be mean to anyone for any reason. He ended up turning himself into a doormat... He also probably got turned into a werewolf either during his last year in HS or not too long after he graduated. Not too plot relevant but he also wrestled in high school.

Describe their  adult years (20+): After high school his parents decided to let him stay at home because they're getting old and Wiley is a good helper on the farm. He's thinking about going to college; not a university or anything, just a local community college. Also he and Benji met at the farmer's market one day, Benji kept showing up every weekend and chatted with Wiley everytime he did, and with they became best friends. Wiley and Zeb's first meeting was awkward and... kind of really NSFW so I won't go into detail past that here. After Gautier showed up to stay at Benji's apartment, he took a vested interest in Wiley because he's different than most werewolves he's ever seen. 

Gautier eventually manages to turn Wiley into a werewolf/vampire hybrid after some convincing, turning Wiley into an actual monster rather than a relatively docile werewolf.
