Physical Appearance

• Somewhat long red hair that goes past shoulders; somewhat voluminous
• Brown eyes, changes to purple at some point in her teen years, although she doesn't know why
• Fair skinned with a moderate tan

• Physically fit with a toned build (was a cheerleader throughout high school)
• Medium to somewhat large breasts

Clothing Style

Tami tends to have a rather feminine style that isn't particularly girly. She prefers darker shades and cool colors, but doesn't wear much black, and she most frequently wears some kind of shirt/blouse with a long skirt and boots. She doesn't accessorize that much, and she tends to have a modest look most of the time. She doesn't wear much that shows off her skin (excluding her arms) unless she's wearing athletic wear for exercising or while she was in high school and wore cheerleading outfits/uniforms (but she doesn't do that anymore).

Personality

Tami is a confident and focused young woman who can be rather intense and difficult to approach. She comes off as rather grumpy and moody most of the time when around others, and while she doesn't particularly dislike socializing she only seems to be interested in people she is already emotionally invested in. She's slow to warm up to others, and she tends to push out people that cause too much change in her life. Tami's not a fan of change in general, and she can be rather judgmental and unwelcome toward new people or factors, and she at times gets vindictive toward them if she doesn't warm up to them soon enough.

In general Tami comes off as low energy and brooding, but she has her moments of high energy (usually while being extremely sarcastic about it, like she did while in cheerleading). She is always assertive and knows what she wants, so she's not easy to push around. She tends to be stubborn and set in her ways, and usually people around her who aren't strong willed enough bend to her will when she directs them. Tami is not impressed easily, her standards are rather high, and she never settles for anything but the best. With people she actually bonds with, she's less abrasive but can still be rather bossy at times. This tends to translate into over-protectiveness with her family, and she doesn't take threats or slights to them kindly.

Backstory

Tami grew up with her parents and younger sister, Tara, and her childhood was relatively normal and happy. However, one day the two sisters were invited to attend a private school for their potential for rifting. Their acceptance and move to this new community created a strain in their parents' relationship, primarily because their father wasn't onboard with the notion that his daughters apparently had some supernatural abilities they hadn't yet discovered. Although their mother was fully supportive and believed them with all her heart, their father considered the school to be either a sham or full of freaks. They eventually divorced, and he never made any attempt to communicate with them more than necessary.

Although Tara bounced back from the divorce relatively well, Tami became much more cynical and was a bit of a problem child for some time. However, a few years later they noticed their mother was starting a new relationship with a man named Liam, who was a single father of one son named Terry. At first the sisters were reluctant to accept the fact their mother was considering remarrying, and although they merely shunned Liam, they tended to pick on Terry since they didn't want anyone new to enter their family, especially after they realized he was also enrolled at their private school. Her younger sister however started to warm up to Terry after some time, and eventually she convinced Tami to finally give them a chance. After some time they grew to accept their mother's love for this new man and his son, and they gradually came to love them too and eventually joined as one family.

Since then, the three have gone about their lives, making their way through school despite still not discovering their potential rifting capabilities. This changes when they pick up an injured dog from the streets and a sinister force soon follows.
