Sora and Kaito (Sora)

Note: The world of Soar Galactia is not the world of Star Wars. Star Wars was an inspiration for the world of Soar Galactia, but almost the entire idea came from a dream I had back in the spring of 2019. 

Sora is a carefree pilot whos entire life revolves around his ship (at first.) He often competes in races to earn parts to customize his ship, The Galactia. He's sarcastic and sometimes cocky, and no one at the races knows much about him.

Sora's father was a legendary Crimson Rebellion hero who was famous for his valiance in the struggle against the Empire of Golden Sands. However, one day when Sora was young, his father left for a Rebellion battle against the Empire. This wasn't out of the ordinary, and he said he would return...but he didn't. His mother having passed away from illness while he was still an infant, Sora was left alone. And so he swore to keep his eyes on the skies and nothing else.

But one day, an energetic little boy named Kaito jumps into Sora's ship, while the hatch is open. Kaito has baddies on his tail, and begs Sora for help finding his mother before the Empire does. Sora ends up shoved into an adventure that spans the galaxy, looking for Kaito's mother (who turns out to be a space princess.) Along the way, Sora and Kaito bond, until they become best of friends. Eventually, a new Rebellion will be formed, and the journey will evolve from a search for Kaito's mother into a quest to save the galaxy from the Empire once again. And the new leader of the Empire just may be the forner Rebellion hero, Sora's own father. (actually still deciding whether to switch it out with a brother figure instead)
