Note: The world of Soar Galactia is not the world of Star Wars. Star Wars was an inspiration for the world of Soar Galactia, but almost the entire idea came from a dream I had back in the spring of 2019

Kaito is a jumpy kid who's always asking questions. He's extremely energetic and can even be seen as "annoying" at times considering his constant curiosity and playfulness. He also happens to be the young prince of the planet Solarus-1. His mother is the runaway princess, who has yet to be crowned as queen, a ceremony postponed since her disappearance.

Solarus-1 is an extremely powerful planet, considering its wealth, military force, and position in the galaxy. Dare I say, the choices made by leaders of Solarus-1 have been much better and more just than those made by leaders of other wealthy planets. Solarus-1 has been a neutral planet for a long time, but would lend a hand in the Rebellion if needed. Which, to the Empire, is a problem...

When the Empire reforms under its new leader, an attempt is made to form an alliance with Solarus-1 (Thus making it an ally of the Empire in any future wars.) This request comes in mere months after the elderly queen passes away. Fortunately, the sole princess, heir to the throne, is recovering from the loss. She is ready to take the throne for her people, and for her young son, the prince. The ceremony is only a matter of days away. But then, the new leader of the Empire, who is planning the comeback of the Empire, offers a chance for Solarus-1 to become an ally of the Empire. The princess, knowing the tyranny and evil nature of the Empire, immediately refuses. But after her refusal, the Empire launches an attack on her planet to capture her and label it as a "mysterious disappearance" to the public...

As Solarus-1 is attacked relentlessly, the fleeing princess shoves Kaito into an escape pod and tells him to get far away and not turn back. Kaito pounds on the door, trying to get out, but he can't. The escape pod launches deep into space, and the princess herself escapes to unknown whereabouts...

Kaito manages to escape to a rocky husk of a planet that is often used as a station for ships and hosts many races. With his mind now set on reforming the Rebellion, as the Empire makes a drastic reappearance, Kaito tries to seek out a legendary Rebellion hero of the past. He gets a lead that the hero is somewhere on the planet, but the guy he finds instead is the hero's son, Sora. Sora seems to have absolutely no interest in saving the universe, but when Kaito suddenly appears in his ship's hatch while being chased by the Empire (who caught up to him,) Sora has no choice but to help Kaito find his mother. (At first he has no choice, but it's his empathy, no matter how much he tries to hide it, that really pushes him to keep helping Kaito and eventually bond with him.) Kaito and Sora eventually become best of friends, as Sora discovers Kaitos orgins, Sora discovers the truth about his father, and their search for Kaito's mother turns into a reformation of the Rebellion and a quest to save the universe. They meet many allies along the way, and Kaito realizes he has a precious friend who would never let him down.
