In the kitchen, Mal is a hard working perfectionist. Mal is the type that'll make sure your meat is never undercooked. He is neurotic about sanitation; frequently washing his hands and always wearing gloves to prevent contamination as much as possible. He's very confident in his field. Being one of the head chefs, Mal will tell his co-workers when they need to get their shit together. For better or for worse, Mal's leadership can either unite the kitchen staff, or he gets micromanage-y and it's a detriment to himself and others.
Mal is a bit of germaphobe outside of work, too. Constantly washing or sanitizing his hands after touching something dirty, or right before eating. Hell, in the bedroom even, it's condoms all the time because he hates how messy cum can be. A huge pet peeve of his is when people don't wash after using the bathroom, or people that use dish soap in place of hand soap.
Off the clock, Mal is a pretty chill, playful kind of guy.
Born an only child to a human father and mouse-kemonomimi mother. Didn't have too many problems during childhood.
He had a love for cooking since he was young and loved taking culinary classes and worked in a kitchen during a good portion of his summer vacations.
Over the years, Mal would work his way up from dishwasher to cook to lead chef. (WIP)
- Never abides by the "5 second rule"; once food hits the ground, it's contaminated with germs and needs to be thrown out.
- Mal does have a high sex drive, but also a romantic side to him.
- Sometimes smokes weed with his boyfriend. Mostly saves it as a stress reliever after hard nights at work.
- His first time trying weed was a nightmare. He had made cannabis cookies for him and Zak, and he got so high that he became shaky and paranoid and had to call the paramedics.
- Mal keeps up with his vaccines; needles be damned.
- Mal carries hand sanitizer with him wherever he goes.
- Cooking - It's a passion of Mal's. Cooking for other people is his love language.
- Zak's bushy tail - How can you not? It's a big poofy wolf tail.
- X-box gaming - It's the system he grew up with, it's the system he knows best.
- Physical intimacy - Whether it be wholesome snuggles or full-on sex, Mal is down for it.
- Dogs - Mal grew up with dogs, and is very fond of them. Having a werewolf boyfriend makes things fun.
- Tropical fruit - Pineapple, mango, bananas, the list goes on.
- A good steak - Medium to medium rare is how he likes it. UwU
- People who don't wash their fucking hands after using the bathroom. - That's bacteria central!
- Messes - A clean house is a happy mouse.

- Greasy or messy hand-held foods -think sloppy joes or a very greasy pizza. He doesn't like the feeling of sauciness on his hands.

They take it slow at first. Zak is pretty protective of Mal. The two enjoy video games and being intimate. Mal loves cooking things for his bae.
When Zak goes werewolf mode, Mal plays doggie games with him. Belly rubs are a bonus.
